Lizandra
We were at the table, I'm eating slowly, but very hungry, I hope the food stays in my stomach, I can't weaken. Just now that I have so much to do and I have the guarantee of being Luna, I can't stop.
The one who believes he's not my father is thoughtful, I believe he's already feeling guilty, but the surprise is even bigger than he thinks.
After lunch, Derick wanted to take me to the room, but I said I'm fine and I want to finish this soon, not much left. We went back to the living room and he sat me lengthwise on the couch, put a large pillow on my back, sat on the other end and put my feet on his lap, massaging them. He is a love.
What a difference!
"Returning to the library then. I found where the notes about our ancestors were. There were so many names that I almost got lost, but in a few pages, in the middle, there was an interesting narrative. It was about the marriage of the Alpha's second son, with a woman totally different from everyone else. There is even a painting of her. When I saw the painting, I recognized myself in her. The same features, the color of the hair, the slim body, the only difference being the wings."
My father looked at me with wide eyes, astonished.
"Yes, that's right, WINGS! The painting is faded, but the wings are clear and they are pink. The writings narrate that she became Luna and the whole Pack prospered, the sick were healed, until there were no more. The plantations flourished and everyone ate well. The coexistence was peaceful."
"But in every pack, there is always a rotten apple. When she got pregnant with her first child, they tried to kidnap her, they wanted the baby to sell him and also her, to steal her powers. There is no record in the writings of how the incident happened, or how she managed to escape, it only says that she disappeared and when the baby was born, she came back and handed him over to the father. Then she left and never returned. No one knows where she went."
Derick
After everything, I found my female very tired and without asking for permission, I picked her up in my arms, asked Nestor for permission and took her to the room, put her in bed already asleep. I covered her with the duvet, the nights have gotten cold and went out to talk to Nestor, who was still in the living room, waiting. Surely, he has many questions to ask.
Nestor was waiting, sitting, but impatient, with his elbows resting on his legs, hands together, supporting his chin, moving one foot, like a nervous tic. I sat in front of him and stared at him. I waited for him to look at me and speak first, we were both shocked, not really knowing what conclusion to draw from all this.
The doorbell rang and in came, Master Tirion.
"Good evening, my Alpha, beta Nestor, I think I arrived at the right time." He arrived smiling and holding a book in his hands.
"Come in, master, and have a seat," I waved to Afonso, who was at the door and asked him to bring some tea.
"What brings you here or what have you brought for us, Master Tirion?" I asked, without reservations.
Master Tirion laughed heartily, he knew we were curious about his statements.
"My Alpha is clever. I brought a very important record book for you to see. This book was researched a few years ago, by our Luna," He handed me the book.
I took it and called Nestor to sit next to me and we looked at the book together. When I opened it, I saw that there was a bookmark almost at the end of the pages. I went there directly and when I opened it, I saw that beautiful image. It looked like my Lizandra, hair in the wind, wings raised, ethereal...
I noticed that Nestor was also hypnotized by the beautiful image.
At the bottom, it talked about the image: Luna of the Blue Moon Pack, mate of Alpha Desmond Cavelier, loved and esteemed, Leonora dos Anjos Cavelier.
Everyone remained silent, as if in reverence to that beautiful figure.
Nestor was the first to snap out of the trance, to ask:
"You knew all this time and you didn't say anything, master, why?" His anger was palpable.
He turned to Master Tirion, tears in his eyes, tumultuous feelings expressed on his face. I felt sorry for him, even I felt remorse for everything I did to Lizandra and her mother. For being complicit in this situation and not doing what my mate did: investigate. We were too emotional and jumped to conclusions too quickly about that situation.
"I didn't say anything because it wasn't my place, the secret belonged to the family, it was up to Lizandra to tell and she chose to keep it to herself," replied the master, in his usual calm and humble voice.
I was also sitting in the armchair, with my elbows resting on my legs, looking sympathetically at Nestor.
"But why didn't she tell me anything? She should have come to me and shown me all of this," complained Nestor.
"Would you have listened? She couldn't even walk down the same street as you without you cursing at her and ordering her to leave or crossing the street. I witnessed two attempts on her part to get closer and you rejected her," justified Master Tirion.
"But now that we know there was an ancestor of Nestor's, with the same appearance as my mate, why did someone with such resemblance only appear after four generations?" I interrupted the discussion that was leading nowhere, curious about the whole situation.
Master Tirion answered:
"From what I've researched, all the descendants that came after Leonora's son were men. Only now, a girl has been born who carries the essence of her great-great-grandmother."
"OOOHHHHH!!!"
Nestor and I exclaimed. It's explained, my Luna is a pure descendant of Leonora Cavelier. But there's still one question remaining. I asked:
"Now that we've clarified why Nestor has a red-haired daughter when both parents are brunettes, the question that remains is: who is Leonora dos Anjos, the woman who married Desmond Cavelier?" I looked at my friends and none of them indicated knowing anything about the subject.
"You haven't even seen Luna's wolf, she's beautiful, with different colors, pink, white, and blue, and she has wings, like angels," the astonishment continued to reflect on their faces.
"And there's more, the bumps on Lizandra's back are also wings, I just don't know if they're feathered, I only saw a little bit when she... Never mind... As soon as she's more rested, I'll ask her to show you her other form."
"I thought she hadn't even transformed yet, that she was an omega, almost human," said Nestor.
"Me too, but I was shocked when her beautiful wolf appeared. I understood why she never let anyone see her, they would discriminate against her even more," I concluded.
