Ch. 4 Failure

“So how's it going " the senior officer asks Jimin and Ensa.

It had been more than two weeks and they didn't gave him any news yet. Though Hoseok wasn't angry coz he knew, what they have got to do is way difficult.

" We can't say anything, he's too clever to be caught " Jimin complimented.

" It's incredible how he easily tackle all our plans " Ensa 's comment clarifies that the latter is two steps ahead them.

Ofc, he's the JK after all.

Hoseok nodded taking in their words " We have got a latest news that JK has an elder brother "

Ensa 's statement pulled Hoseok off guard " a brother?? " he asked in disbelief.

Jimin nodded as a reply " Taehyung, no one knows about him because he is not like his brother, he's not a criminal neither is involved in any business of JK " Jimin explained.

" We are thinking to take Taehyung under custody and ask him to be our verbal evidence against JK. "

Hoseok's face lit up with the idea but he had some doubt "And how are you gonna get him?? And what if he refuses to be the evidence?? if he's JK'S brother , he must be having security around him ??"

" We have got to know that JK is throwing a party in which he invited all other famous criminal and Mafiya people. We can force a raid and arrest JK, Taehyung and other criminals all at once. " Ensa explained their plan

" and if Taehyung refuses, we have our own ways " Jimin quoted with a wink to his partner.

Hoseok had a proud smile on his face at the idea of his two best cops. " if you succeed getting JK, I'll make sure to get both of you promoted " Hoseok 's proud smile never faded. He had complete trust on them.

" I'll get late today, don't be worried, take care " Ensa confirmed to his eldest brother on the call.

She looked at Jimin who was staring at her with concerned eyes. They were in their department SUV, going to the venue where JK has held the party. It was going to be their first time to face that well known criminal and Jimin was somewhere worried, not for himself but for his partner . He had a feeling that something today will hurt his crush and he wanted to protect her.

She raised her eyebrow asking what's there to stare with a concerned face. He simply shook his head and shrugged off all the negativity .Soon they reached the spot. Ensa gestured the other cops to surround the place while few of them followed the duo in towards the hall. Loud music could be heard ,coming from inside of the hall behind the set of large doors. Two cops took action to push the doors open and the scene just shocked all of them. No party was going on. There was no one in the hall but JK sitting on the big golden throne with his one leg hanging on the hand rest of the comfy seat and a wide smirk plastered on his face.

Like a lion, who was waiting for his stupid prey to come to him, he greeted them " welcome, dear officers!! " the psychopathic smirk never leaving his features.

His aura was so strong that the cops were already sweating in fear. Jimin and Ensa knew this is no time to be scared, just took position and the others followed their lead.

" Surrender yourself JK " Ensa commanded and earned a laugh from the latter.

" Why are you asking an innocent citizen to surrender, did I do any crime?? " He pouted making a thinking action.

" Everyone knows who you are and what you did " Jimin growled at him.

" Seriously?? umm maybe yeah!! everyone knows who I'm and what I did but..... how will you prove it?? " He asked sarcasm filled in his voice.

They had no reply to his question, and he knew that. He knew how to make people helpless and that made him more powerful. There was no point of talking so they thought to take action. Eight cops ran the attack him, but they were like some rats for him. He was knocking down each one of them with just a punch and kick . The duo got to that their chances to win were really slim so now they decided to use Ensa's signature spin kick to get a chance to attack him. While JK was busy knocking out the cops, Jimin went behind him and captured his arms from behind to block his actions. Ensa took chance to take her move the spun taking a flip and kicked JK right at his jawline. Her move was always effective and it did effected him too. He landed on the floor with a thin stream of blood coming out of the corner of his lips.

He stood up slightly limping and touched the injured part with his thumb. His eyebrows jumped in surprise and a smirk creeped on as he saw the red liquid on his thumb.

" You're stronger than these rats,...... it's gonna be fun " he exclaimed looking at her.

She took a defensive position but it didn't help her from getting tackled down by him. Now she was on the ground and he was on her , kneeling with his legs spread where he caged her . She was struggling in preventing him from punching her meanwhile Jimin ran to help them. Few more cops joined in pulling JK away from her but he started suffocating her. In between all the drama, a shiny object caught JK'S eyes. He blinked to get a better view and his eyes widened as he saw the thing.

After several trials, they were finally successful in escaping her from JK as he loosened his grip on her neck. He was in shock and didn't has any sense that what the situation was going like. He watched Jimin helping Ensa to get up and patted her back while she kept coughing trying to catch her breathes . His eyes had confusion but he got to the situation as a cop was handcuffing him. He was held by six cops so he used his leg to kick the cop with handcuffs. Shrieking himself heavily, he yeeted away all the cops holding him. As the others were about to attack him he lifted the big throne and effortlessly threw it to them. All the cops were injured and Jimin was stuck under the heavy throne. JK took chance and held Ensa 's hand. She yanked her hand to get out of his grip and was about to punch him but he caught her fist.

Within a split second she was now caged in his arms from behind. The sudden action made her groan in pain as her wrist got twisted. He loosened his grip seeing her in pain and it surprised her why he did so.

" Leave me!! " she shouted squirming in his grip but he didn't let go.

She tried some moves to get free but he was too strong to be freaked out. On the other hand Jimin was struggling under the heavy throne. His guts feeling was right and now he needed to save her but he himself was stuck.

JK spun her around and held her forearms to keep her still. She looked at his eyes and for some reason she couldn't help herself from becoming still. His eyes examining her features and traveled to her cheek which had a cute little mole that always complimented her features. His gaze traveling down to her neck where her precious pendent was hanging. Her eyes kept staring at him , examining her. He wasn't holding her too tight, she could get free easily but she felt weak, weak in his aura. His gaze returned to her eyes and a short smile showed up on his face.

" got you " he mumbled.

She was confused of his statement but before she could react, she found herself hanging on his shoulder while he simply walked out of the hall.

She started punching his back " let me go.... you fvcking psycho..... let go of me " she yelled at his back but nothing worked.

Neither her yells nor her punches could stop him. Jimin, on the other hand just got out of the struggle and found all the cops lying unconscious in the hall and no sign of his partner and the criminal they came to arrest. Anxiety attacks hit him and he stood up carrying his body around the venue to find Ensa but he failed. He punched the column near him at the fact of their failure.
