Also, i forgot to say. I'm going on a cruise tomorrow.
Mr. Jeon
Are you even working? How can you afford that?
Jungkook
I'm not working cause YOU got me FIRED and I'm not the one paying for the cruise.
Mr. Jeon

Also, have fun on the cruise but make sure you're safe. otherwise I'll kill you myself.

Bummer,I was hoping I wouldn't have to see you for another 2 weeks.
Mr. Jeon
This is why I'm making you board this term.
Mr. Jeon
Yeah. I already signed the boarding forms and payed the bills so you can't talk me out of it.

Anyway, you're 20 Jungkook, you should not be on a call with your dad for more than 5 minutes. I'm hanging up.
Jungkook
You know, I'm your son. You don't need to be such an asshole all the time.
Mr. Jeon
Poor Jungkook can't take a little bullying.

Sumi
What are you smiling at?
He hears as soon as he hangs up the phone and his smile immediately falls.
Jungkook
What do you want?
He forces out, talking to her was such a chore.
Sumi
Mom and Dad made dinner. Come eat.
She tells, ignoring his question.
He lets her know, turning his phone off before he stands from her bed,
Sumi
I don't care. Mom worked hard on dinner so you'll come eat with us.
Jungkook
Fine. Just give me a minute.
He says,waiting for her to leave. He just needed a minute or two to pull himself together. He felt a bit overwhelmed with her just constantly trying to control him.
He knew he was way too upset to be around others at the moment.
He picks his phone back up and he finds Jimin's contact before he tries to send him a message.
She questions, and he doesn't understand why that was something she felt like she needed to know.
He replies, and then she grabs his phone away from him and she looks at the phone trying to get the answer to her question by herself.
She laughs a bit, kind of mockingly mixed with disbelief.
Sumi
Isn't he that gay guy you're always with.
She says, and Jungkook closes his eyes to make sure that he could calm himself down, it's almost like she wanted him to lose his mind.
Jungkook
Give me my phone?
He tells and he stretches his hand forward.
Sumi
I thought I told you to stop talking to him.
She says, and there was only one other person in this world who has every spoken to him like this and it was his mom.
Jungkook
I'll talk to whoever I want to talk to, okay? Now give me my phone.
He tries again, this time opening his eyes, clearly upset but she still holds his phone as though it was her own.
She gets cut off by none other than Taehyung.
Taehyung
Is everything okay in here?
Something about him seeing them in the middle of an argument throws Jungkook over the edge. He could see that Taehyung was reveling in the fact that he was having a hard time with Sumi.
Jungkook
Why the fück are you everywhere?
He snaps, making Taehyung's eyes grow wide
Sumi
Don't talk to him like that?
She demands again and that's when he realizes that he needed to get outside, or at least just away from them.
Jungkook
Can you both just leave alone?
He shouts, and he runs out of the room, not caring that Sumi still had his phone.
Jungkook sighs as he welcomed the cool air. He had found himself in the backyard, and now he was seated on a small bench, with his legs folded under his knees.
He was calmer, but he was still a bit upset, right now he'd rather be texting his bestfriend but he refuses to speak to Sumi any longer.
She startles him a little, both by her suddenness and the fact that he was unaware why she wanted to join. To scold him perhaps?
She joins him on the bench and she smiles over at him softly.
Ara
You don't seem to be having a very good time here. huh?
Jungkook
I... Is it obvious?
He lets out with a sigh and he shakes his head softly.
Ara
Yeah, very but it's fine. Sumi's a bit much and Taehyung, he's... he's a bit pushy so I understand why you're probably overwhelmed.
Jungkook
I'm fine, really I just... It's Sumi. We... It's gotten harder to be together that's all.
He explains as best as he could and he's not very fond of this conversation. He doesn't want to talk about Sumi.
Ara
Do you not like her anymore?
No. He never liked her. That's what he wants to say but he can't, now, can he?
Jungkook
I... No, that's not it.
Ara
Good. Because I know she doesn't show it well but she loves you Jungkook.
This is not ehat he wants to hear, especially when it's not true. All she wants to do is argue with him and get on his nerves so there's she loves him.
Jungkook
Love is a bit extreme, don't you think?
Ara
Yeah, but she does. All she talks about is you, when we're together. She doesn't know how to get through to you and she's scared she's gonna lose you.
He finds that hard to believe.
Ara
All I'm asking is for you to be a bit more patient with her.
Jungkook
I am being patient.
He says, a bit more aggressive than he had intended.
Jungkook
but I'll be more patient.
He says, just so that this conversation could end and to his good fortune she leaves.
Ara
Good. I'll go talk to her now.
Jungkook lays his head back, sighing as he thought about what Ara had said. As much as he tried he just can't bring himself to believe that Sumi could love him. There was absolutely no way.
Honestly, he hopes not because if she did then he'd feel bad for using her for his own personal gain but with the way she treats him, isn't it deserved? even just a bit?
He only gets about another 5 minutes to himself before he hears footsteps, on the short grass, approaching him.
Jungkook
Why are you here?
He asks the moment he opens his eyes and he sees Taehyung who doesn't even bother to ask him if he could join him.
Taehyung
To apologize I guess.
He says, and Jungkook stays quite for a few seconds. Was he being serious?
He ask, genuinely curious.
He replies and Jungkook gaze softens. He turns away from the other folding his arms as he waited. He can't say he didn't appreciate him making an effort.
Taehyung
I'm sorry I'm turning you gay.
Jungkook looks at him for a good second before he laughs at the absurdity of the other's statement. To think he believed that he was going to get a genuine apology.
Jungkook stands and he tries to go back inside but Taehyung stops him, grabbing his wrist, softly.
Taehyung
Can't you learn to take a joke?
Taehyung retorts all smugly and Jungkook just pulls his arm away before he sighs. Everyone here was so infuriating. well, except for Mr. and Mrs. Ahn, they were great but he's honestly tired of everyone else.
Jungkook
No. This is all just a game to you, but it's not for me.
He thinks there's no more use trying to deny the fact that if Taehyung made a move he'd let him devour him without thinking twice and the worst part was Taehyung knew it too and Jungkook's tired of him mocking him about it.
Jungkook
Fine, I am fücking gay, but i'm almost certain you're not so why don't you do me a favour and leave me alone.
He demands and Taehyung looks at him a little confused, like that was the kast thing he was expecting to hear.
Taehyung
What makes you so sure that I'm not.
Taehyung
Okay? What about Sumi?
Jungkook sighs, before he looks up at Taehyung once more.
Jungkook
I'm not having this conversation with you.
Taehyung
Okay, but at least tell me why?
Why would he want to talk about this?
Jungkook
It doesn't matter.
Taehyung
It does actually. Give me a valid reason and I promise I'll start ignoring you.
Hearing Taehyung say it left a bitter taste in Jungkook's mouth.
Jungkook
If I do, you really will?
He folds his arms before he speaks.
Jungkook
We shouldn't have this conversation because if we do, whatever we're trying to cover up with our relationships is... it's not going to be much of a secret anymore, is it?
Jungkook
If you loved Ara like you said you do, you wouldn't be making moves on me which would mean you're also dating her for reasons i don't want to know.
He pauses for a second so that Taehyung could process all he'd said.
Jungkook
Is that vaild enough for you.
He asks and as he does Taehyung takes a few steps forward and now they were close. Too fücking close so Jungkook takes a step back and he hates the way Taehyung chuckles. Hates the way he liked it.
Taehyung
If you must know, i'm not dating her for me, i'm dating her because she needs me to.
He whispers, almost as if that was something Jungkook was suppose to be happy about.
He asks, why would... Why would Ara need Taehyung to date her?
Taehyung
Like you said, if we talk about it, it's not going to be much of a secret, is it?
Taehyung finishes, throwing Jungkook's words back in his face before he sidesteps Jungkook and he makes his way back into the house, a smile on his face as he could feel Jungkook's eyes piercing through the back of his head.
He could tell Jungkook wanted him just as bad as he wanted him.
and it was only a matter of time he gets what he wants.
