Now that we've had breakfast, you guys should go out and get anything you need for the trip.
Mrs. Ahn suggest and Sumi lights up at that. Jungkook had quite the opposite reaction. He was not, even just a little bit, in the mood to go shopping or anywhere for that matter
Not after all that happened with Taehyung earlier.
Sumi
I need so much stuff.
She says, a bit more loudly that than she needed to and she turns to Jungkook, taking a hold of his arm and he tenses up at her touch.
Sumi
Jungkook, you're driving.
She commands and Jungkook blows out a sigh before he continued eating his breakfast.
Sumi
For once he agrees to do what I tell him.
She says as if him agreeing was the most unbelievable thing that could ever happen.
Ara
I don't think I need much but maybe if I go with Sumi I'll find things I didn't even know I needed.
She smiles over at her sister, who returns it and then she turns to her lover, and she asks nicely.
Taehyung
Anything for you.
Jungkook scoffs a bit at that, making everyone look at him.
Mrs. Ahn
Is everything okay, Jungkook?
Jungkook
Uhm... Yeah,I just-
He smiles nervously not knowing how to act with everyone's eyes on him. Why did he even react to that? and so loudly too.
Sumi
He's just jealous because it's clear Taehyung is the ideal boyfriend. Like, he's just 22 and he's got his life on track.
Sumi starts and Jungkook just lets himself sink into his chair, he tries his best to just ignore her but in the back of his mind, he worries that everyone else might actually believe her.
Sumi
If I were a man, I'd probably be jealous of him too.
She continues and Jungkook just wishes he could tell her to shut up.
Sumi
Who wouldn't want to be the front of every magazine.
Jungkook looks to Sumi in confusion, as does everyone else.
Ara
Sumi, I told not to talk about it.
Sumi
But why? Shouldn't we? He's huge deal.
Sumi looks to Taehyung with an apologetic look and if anything Jungkook was even more confused.
Ara
He doesn't like talking about it so be quiet.
She whispers but not low enough and Jungkook manages to hear.
Mrs. Ahn
You guys should get going now.
Mrs. Ahn tells them, in an attempt to free everyone from the now awkward air.
Ara
I'm sorry about my sister, I know you don't like talking about modeling so-
She speaks as Taehyung gets in the car, but he quickly stops her.
Taehyung
It's fine. Not your fault she's so stubborn, is it?
Although he doesn't show it, he was a bit pissed that Ara told Sumi that he models even though he asked her not to. He'd rather not have people know that it's him even if that's not often the case.
She says, clearly feeling bad about the whole situation but Taehyung's never been one to read emotions well so he just starts driving.
Sumi
Why can't you be more like Taehyung?
Jungkook sighs for the 100th time today, Sumi being the reason. How can one person be this annoying.
Jungkook
Can we have one drive where you just shut up and let me focus.
He speaks up to her, something he rarely does but she was getting on his last nerves.
Sumi
Taehyung would never speak to Ara like that.
She sasses and Jungkook can't help but chuckles at that.
Jungkook
Well Thank fück, I'm not him then, huh?
He blurts out and she shakes her head slowly at him.
She tells and it barely even phases Jungkook. In all honesty, he might hate her too.
Sumi
Ara and I will focus on fashion. You boys can pick up some food items. Caoi!
She orders, taking Ara's hand and she pulls her away before Taehyung and Jungkook could even object and you better believe that Jungkook was going to.
Taehyung states as the journey through the meat isle.
He says staring down at the filled fridge for what he might want, but with Taehyung's eyes on him he feels a bit under pressure.
The other says and Jungkook sighs before he closes the fridge and he looks to the other.
Jungkook
Sumi wants me to be more like you.
He says, a bit whiny and he can't help but laugh when he hears Taehyung laugh. It didn't sound mocking. Just like he wasn't expecting to hear that.
Taehyung
She better hopes you don't become anything like me.
Jungkook looks back to him as he said that, why did he speak of himself like that?
He asks, softly. so he doesn't overwhelm the other, they've only known each other for a bit under a day, he might actually scare the other off.
Taehyung
Because I'd have left her years ago.
He chuckles softly and Jungkook shakes his head as he smiles. He then continues walking along the isle, Taehyung trailing behind him.
Jungkook
She probably does want me to leave her.
He admits, and part of him is saddened by that because his parents would start asking questions again.
Taehyung
If she did, she would've ended it already, don't you think?
That was quite an understatement.
Jungkook almost chokes om his spit. What even was that random question?
Jungkook
Weren't you accusing me of hating her this morning.
He tries to joke as he turns to look back at Taehyung, who had been wearing a smug smile on his face.
Taehyung
You're avoiding my question.
He says all sing songy, and that leads Jungkook to wonder whether he could sing or not because he sounded pretty good to be honest.
He says flatly and he knew Taehyung wouldn't believe him.
He challenges, before he turns back away from Jungkook, scanning the isles and he finally sees something he wants he puts it into the almost filled basket before goes back to waiting for Taehyung's response.
Jungkook almost expected a 'no'. Then why did he openly admit that he wanted to do all those stuff with him?
Jungkook
Well then... that's... that's good.
He says, and he tries to sound sincere.
Taehyung teases and Jungkook groans, why was he so bad at faking things?
Jungkook
Can we just focus on getting the stuff?
He says, trying to end the conversation as fast as he could.
Taehyung
If that's what you want.
Taehyung
Did you guys get what you wanted?
Taehyung raises as he finds the girls at the entrance of the Mall. They both smile at him before he gets a reply.
Ara
Yeah, Sumi barely found anything but she did.
Ara
And I'm sure Jungkook will be thrilled to see it.
Ara gives him a suggestive look making him panic a bit and Jungkook gulps making everyone looks to him with knowing smiles. Oh, kill him now.
Taehyung says, knowing that Jungkook was not handling that well.
Jungkook
I... I'm going to use the bathroom.
He says and he puts the grocery bag down before he scurries off to find the bathroom. He could feel all their gazes on him and he closes his eyes in embarassment.
He can't wait until summer ends, when he can finally go back to school and everything will be fine. There'll be no Taehyung, No Ara, Sumi but they'll barely see each other so everything will be good.
He slips into the bathroom and luckily he had been the only one in there. He walks up to the sink and he washes his face hastily. He needed to start acting less awkward.
He gets pulled from his thoughts when he hears the door of the bathroom being pulled open and he doesn't even have to look to know that it was Taehyung.
Taehyung
For someone who's not gay, you sure were freaking out about the idea of Sumi in something... sexy? perhaps?
Jungkook
What is your problem?
Jungkook raises and his voice is filled with annoyance and he hates how Taehyung smiles at that. Like he was enjoying the idea of riling him up.
Taehyung
Have you guys had sèx?
He asks as if that was the most normal question you could ask someone.
He tells, sternly. He's had enough of Taehyung mocking him.
Taehyung
Are you a virgin?
The older continued and Jungkook could almost laugh. Was he deaf?
Taehyung
You guys have probably never even kissed, huh?
He teases even more, and he sounded so condescending too and the way he stared at Jungkook, as if he knew better. all that was enough to send Jungkook over the edge.
Jungkook pushes Taehyung rather roughly and the other steps back a bit, his back hitting the wall of the bathroom.
Taehyung's eyes snap to find Jungkook's in the silence, and a smirk surfaces on his lips as he looks at Jungkook, who was breathing rather heavily.
Jungkook
You're so fücking annoying.
He breathes, eyes never leaving Taehyung's as he takes a few steps closer.
Jungkook
and you're so nosy...
He adds, with yet another step.
He whispers that part before he takes another step, and he was so close he could hear the other's breathing.
They continue staring into each other's eye for a moment before Taehyung's hands find Jungkook's cheeks and just as he leans in Jungkook lowers Taehyung's hand from his cheek.
He whispers almost against Taehyung's lips before he pulls away completely then he turns on his heels and he quickly heads out of the bathroom.
The moment he's away from the other he lets his nerves take over.
Jungkook
What did I just do?
He sighs hugging himself.
He was going to kiss him. What if he hadn't found his senses? He'd been trying to make a point and the moment their noses touched he wanted something else to touch.
He really needs to be more careful.
