“Zhilian, are you going to collaborate with HGGL Corporation?”

Chu Ling asked.

“Depends.”

“What does that supposed to mean?”

“Figure out yourself.”

Zhilian walked to the office and Chu Ling followed.

Outside the JZCL International…

“Yehua, do you think that CEO Xu will accept the collaboration?”

“Of course.”

While He Shun was explaining the plans to CEO Xu, Yehua was staring at CEO Xu and reading her expressions and movements.

“Really?”

This time Yehua didn’t answer and walked to their car.

“Hey! Wait for me!”

He Shun ran after and got inside before the car could take off.

Zhilian pushed open the doors to her office and walked to her desk and started to work.

On the desk, there were stacks of paperwork.

“It’s going to be a long day.”

Before she knew it, it was already noon, and she hadn't had breakfast or lunch.

Zhilian heads down to the cafeteria to get lunch and to get out of her room which was a big mess of work.

She arrived at the cafeteria and many employees stood up and greeted her, “Good afternoon, CEO Xu.”

“Good afternoon, to you all. Continue eating.”

The employees sat down and continued eating.

She sat down after grabbing lunch.

She took out her phone and looked through documents while eating.

Somebody nudged her, she turned to look, and it was Luo Fangsu.

“Why are you eating alone?”

“So I can hurry up and head back to those stacks of paper. Oh, and why didn’t you three take care of the paperwork while I was gone. Especially Zhu Meilien, I appointed her as the CEO while I was gone.”

“I don’t know either. She’s been busy with the collaboration with the Italian designer.”

Zhilian nodded her head, she stood up and put her tray away.

“You’re already done eating?”

“I have no time to eat like a turtle, I’ve paperwork to finish.”

Zhilian heads back to her office and starts working again but with many coffees on her table.

By the time she was almost finished, it was 6 pm.

She suddenly remembers the collaboration between her company and HGGL.

She presses the button on the phone at the corner of the table, “Contact Director Chu, tell her to come up to my office.”

“Yes, CEO.”

10 minutes pass and Chu Ling hasn’t arrived.

Zhilian walked to the door of the side of the room, opened the door and the shelf, to a collection of watches. She picks one watch out which was silver and hurries it and puts it on before Chu Ling arrives.

15 minutes passed, and she pressed the button once again, “Secretary Qi, where is Director Chu?”

“I’ve been contacting her, but she hasn’t been answering.”

“Contact her secretary.”

“Yes ma’am.”

20 minutes have passed, and the door opens, which Zhilian thought was Chu Ling but only to find out it was Secretary Qi.

“Where’s Director Chu? Did you manage to get hold of her?”

“She’s still not answering.”

“It’s fine. Inform her to report to my office first thing in the morning.”

“Yes.”

Zhilian’s phone ranged, and she looked at the ID Caller.

“Hello?”
