❐² - In where Y/n was suddenly questioned if she's dating her friend Kageyama, out of the blue.

Two days after being recruited as the manager, Y/n spent her weekends bored, having nothing to do but eat and sleep, being the lazy potato she is.
—And now, once again, it is Monday. Another week for everyone to start, hopefully, an enjoying one.

Aaahh~ Finally, it's break.
The girl muttered, stretching her body before standing up. Going outside to be met by Kageyama's waiting figure.
He calls in greeting the female who is shocked to see him waiting by the door, waiting for her, specifically.

Oh, Kageyama-kun. Wanna eat together?
She offered to Kageyama who nodded, sparkles coming out of him as the girl lead him with her to the canteen.

Let's sit beside Tsukishima-kun and the other first years, Kageyama.

I wanna talk to them!
She bubbly said to the male who spat a 'tsk' as a small incoherent mutter came grumbling out his mouth.

Ehh? What was that, Kegeyama-kun.
Kageyama Tobio
..I said 'sure' now let's just go.
Sighing softly, Kageyama dragged himself with the girl, to their fellow first years, after some internal hesitation.

Oh. Y/n-san, hey!!
The orange head greeted, waving his hands as he welcomed the female who walked beside the ravenette.
She dryly muttered, taking a seat with the short male together with her friend, Kageyama.

Where are the others at? Yamaguchi-kun and Tsukishima-kun?
Y/n questioned, looking around the spacious area to catch sight of the greenette and blonde walking towards them.

There they are.
Pointed Kageyama to the girl who hummed, waving her hand to the two to catch their attention.

Over here, guys! Yamaguchi, Tsukishima..!
Called the h/c-nette female manager as Yamaguchi and Tsukishima exchanged words before going to the three.
Yamaguchi Tadashi
Y/n-chan, what's up?
L/n Y/n
Nothing, really. I just wanted us first years to eat together, chat.
Answered the girl, flashing a small smile that was enough to blind her fellow first years.
Yamaguchi Tadashi
Geh!? So bright!
Yamaguchi hissed, a bead of sweat rolling down his forehead as he overreacted towards the girl, exaggerating.
Kageyama Tobio
..Mhm, that doesn't sound too bad.
Muttered Kageyama while the two hummed, glancing to the first year team he's around with, eyes stopping to Tsukishima who was snickering.
Tsukishima Kei
Heh! How childish. I'd rather eat alone than with you kids.
Scorned the blonde while the frowning Kageyama clicked his tongue, annoyed of his saltiness.

Go ahead then, Tsukishima-kun.

..Since you're the ‘matured’ one in here and thinks that we're children.

Now, go leave us and eat alone, in peace. Without us nuisance, who you call.
Continued the female for Kageyama, her smile still plastered on her face as he stated her venomous words.
—..While the rest of her friends had their mouths agape, surprised to hear her snap so suddenly.
Havin no words to say, Tsukishima grunted as he rolled his eyes. Silently sitting to the bench, since he had no choice but to do.

Oooh, I thought ‘Tsukishima-san’ doesn't like us kids~?
Chuckled the female, emphasizing the honorific normally used for their upperclassmen as her soft smile fading, replaced by a taunting smirk to piss the megane.
Tsukishima Kei
..Tsk, just shut up. Be thankful that I still agree to hang out with you losers.
Muttered Tsukishima while Kageyama quietly chuckled to himself, proud on how Y/n managed to shut him off so easily.

Okay then, ‘Thank you, Tsukishima-san’
Added Kageyama, putting salt to the wound as Yamaguchi nervously stuttered some words.
Yamaguchi Tadashi
O-Okay now, can we just eat?

Yeah yeah.. You guys are—uhm, scary...!
The two stated, putting out the flame that flared between their two—three friends.

Apologized the girl, a concerned look took over her facial expression. Meaning her words truthfully.
He growled, repeating his usual 'tsk's' sounding almost like a clock which kept ticking.
Kageyama Tobio
Dude, stop 'Tsk-ing' you sound like a clock.
Said Kageyama, words filled with honesty while Hina along with the rest held back their laughter.
Tsukishima Kei
So? Did you ever hear me complain when you do?
Tsukishima fought back, regaining his cool composture. Finally managing to give a nice comeback.

Damn! You guys are really salty!
The tangerine said with a grin, opening his bento as he ate his snack. Same goes with Yamaguchi.

Taking out the small paper bag she bought on her way to school, Y/n opened it to reveal her food. Onigiri

Offered the female, receiving 'no' from the three, specifically Hinata, Tsukishima, and Yamaguchi. Kageyama remained silent as he looked down the lunch table.
Sighing softly, their manager chuckled before taking out a piece. Leaning forward before stuffing it to Kageyama's mouth.

Exchanging words of thanks, the two happily chatted together with their other friends during the snacks period.
—And after that, classes proceeded and then club time, where the five first years went to the gym altogether.

Their captain commented with a smile as the third year vice-captain and the main manager agreed.

A few hours later, practice ended. Things were going smoothly for the new manager who's Y/n.

Tanaka, their senpai asked, receiving a yes from each one of them.

He reminded to the five who nodded, once again answering yes to him.

Kiyoko asked to her kohai manager who shook her head. Raising a finger as she spoke up.

..Mhm, yeah, I'm gonna walk home myself.
She answered, glancing to Kageyama who's eyes focused on her as she talked with the other manager.

Oh, do you want me to accompany you on your way?
She offered to the girl who scratched her head, muttering some words of thanks before shaking her head no.

No thanks, Kiyoko-san. I'm good.
She chirped up to her senpai who nodded in understanding, waving goodbye before she left. Leaving her with the others who were preparing to leave.

Y/n-san, I'm leaving now, bye!
Hinata beamed, bidding his goodbye as he took his belongings and left, dashing out of the gym.

Hey L/n, we're all about to leave—and leaving, how about you?

I heard that you're going home yourself, y'know it's dangerous doing that, right?
Asked Yamaguchi in concern, while Tsukishima who was beside him faintly nodded his head in agreement.

Ensured the girl, while the freckle faced first year and his megane friend didn't seem to be convinced by this.

Just walk with us, you can't ensure that.
Insisted the blonde, his tone cold but words soft. And right after he spoke up, Kageyama immediately stepped up to them.

..You don't have to do that—walk Y/n home, Tsukishima, Yamaguchi.
He stated straightforwardly, eyeing the two males as he guarded his female friend who wore a confused look.

Yeah, why King? Are you being heartless, even towards our dear manager Y/n?
Questioned the two, brows quirking up in curiosity. Receiving a small sigh from Kageyama who glanced down you.

Taking the female's hand secretly, Kageyama pulled the girl to him who trailed on his steps. Followed by the two other first years.
—Now reaching outside, by Karasuno's entrance/exit, the four stood by the gate.
She called to the ravenette male who took her bike, sitting on the front as the others watched.

You going or what? Can't you see I'm gonna send you home now..?
He hummed, as Y/n bugged her eyes, shrieking as she hopped into her bike with the male.
Yamaguchi Tadashi
E-Eh? You're sending L/n home?
Tsukishima Kei
Tss... Obviously, he is.
He muttered, rolling his eyes upon the sight of the female manager wrapping her eyes innocently around Kageyama who wore a small smile.

Taking a deep breath, Yamaguchi gathered courage before spilling his words out, his question.

He asked to the two who had their eyes widely opened, a small blush creeping on their face before declining the statement.
They chorused, while Yamaguchi jolted. Bowing his head down before apologising.

Oh, sorry! I thought you guys were since you two are really close with each other!
He pointed out after his sorry, while his saltshaker of a friend sneered, chuckling before landing a blow.

Mhm? Kageyama, you seem defensive, is that because...

Trailing his words, Tsukishima talked with Kageyama using his eyes, mouthing his next words as the blueberry flushed red.

Looking down, Kageyama hid his reddened face, as the two shrugged and left.

Alright then, let's go?
Wrapping her arms tightly around Kageyama's waist, Y/n made herself comfortable as the male pedalled to her home.
...Staying in complete silence as they did, probably because of Yamaguchi's question.
