Stepping out her class after being told to handle Takeda-san some papers, Y/n followed. Walking to her new school, to the gym.
..Which is Karasuno High.
The school where Kageyama is at, the male along with the other Kitagawa Daiichi members who she left more than a year ago.

Volleyball gym.. I haven't been inside one for so long.
She whispered, standing in front of the door, sliding it open to see busy players doing practice.
The girl commented, watching each player do their assigned job based on their position.
Takeda interrupted, approaching the girl who snapped her head to him.

The h/c girl called to the adviser who walked to her. Greeting the girl before asking what does she need.

Yes? Is there anything you need?
He asked as the girl handled him the papers her teacher had told her to give to him.

Having a small chat by the door, Kageyama who was currently on his break took a glance to them.

'Who is that Takeda-sensei is talking to?'

He mumbled, taking a closer peek to you, and freezing when he realises who is this girl.

Kageyama whispered, swallowing the lump on his throat, fist clutching as he stopped himself from drawing conclusions.

'No, that's... Not Y/n, she left. She's not here.'
He reminded himself, clicking his tongue, gritting his teeth.

Complicated thoughts circling his confused mind, Kageyama stared at you, matching your current features with your previous one.
—Although sadly, he didn't get a single glimpse of your face since Takeda-san was blocking you. Plus, you were now bidding your good-byes to the adviser.

Said the girl, bowing down slightly to the sensei to express thanks as he did the same.

A high-pitched yet masculine voice boomed inside the gym, making you freeze by the name mentioned.

You repeated, glancing back to see the male who you had been looking for some time now.
Kageyama Tobio
Tsk! You don't have to tell me, I was going to stand up now anyway!
The familiar voice shouted back, it was deeper than before. Even his features were enhanced.
Forming a smile on your face, you walked away in bliss. Glad that you've seen the male once again.

Spending your free time walking around the school, you find yourself standing by the school's entrance as most of the students exited. Going to their homes.
...While you, you quietly leaned on your bike. Waiting for the volleyball club's practice to end, so you can talk to Kageyama.

'And unexpected to me, they were true, according to Kunimi and Kindaichi themselves, plus the others.'
Whispering these thoughts, the h/c-nette girl went through her memories, flashback when she visited Kitagawa.
A small voice whispered as it entered Kitagawa's gym, owned by Y/n, visiting her former team at their graduation.
Kunimi was the first to notice her, then Kindaichi. Followed by the other members.
Kindaichi Yūtarō
“You're back, it had been so long!”
Exclaimed Kindaichi as the girl approached them with a smile plastered on her face, scanning the area as she rubbed her neck.

“Yeah.. Sorry for leaving, I was at c/n and forgot to tell coach that I'll be staying there for a while.”
Their former manager explained to them who listened in understanding, aware of your situation back then.

“Where's Kageyama-kun? I don't see him around here?”
She asked, looking around the gym to find no trace of the blueberry haired male. While her two friends frowned.
Kindaichi Yūtarō
“Tsk, the 'King' had left after receiving his certificate. Prolly went home.”
Replied the tall male, crossing his arms as he clicked his tongue by the mention of this topic.

“King? What a title, did he get better that's why he got it?”
Asked the girl out of curiosity, taking a guess on why Kageyama was nicknamed with such high title.
Kunimi Akira
“..No, he was given that because he's a king. A dictator, a tyrant.”
Growled Kunimi, his words hissed out with venom that will surely hurt Kageyama if he's told about this.

“Wha—Dictator, Tyrant!? He's not like that before. I refuse to believe.”
Not believing in this, Y/n refused to accept the accusations against Kageyama.
Kindaichi Yūtarō
“Pssh, ask the others, they'll give you the same reply.”
Kunimi Akira
“Yeah, and the coach agrees with us too.”
Taken back with the words and replies from the members and coach, Y/n was finally then convinced that the Kageyama she used to know had changed deeply.

“..The King, Kageyama Tobio, I promise to fix him!”
Making a promise, a swear to herself, Y/n strived to fulfill this.

I'll fix him, besides, it was me who caused him to be like this..
She whispered as the wind blew pass her, and unaware that the sun started to set after the flashback she played in her mind.
Kageyama mumbled, suddenly appearing in front of the female who's eyes bugged open.
Facing him, Y/n muttered his name while Kageyama stood frozen as he finally recognized the female by her voice and appearance.
He gulps as the girl who stood by him beamed a smile he haven't seen for so long. She truly is Y/n.

I.. I'm back, Kageyama-kun.
Her silvery voice stated to the male who couldn't believe everything that's happening now.

“I want to see you again.”

“...Just one last time, please.”
It all felt like a dream to Kageyama. He felt like he just wished to a shooting star for you to come back, then baam! fulfilled.

..If this is a dream, I don't wanna wake up yet.
The ravenette blurted out to you who smiled, letting a chuckle out.

She said, sitting down the back of her bike as Kageyama nodded, following her and pedalling to their destination.
