Should I let he be my sky??

Today he followed me to the meeting, caught my ignorance, and saved me from getting fooled.

I'm feeling embarrassed and grateful at the same time but I feel, I should have read the contract paper before I was going to sign it. At least I wouldn't have embarrassed myself in front of him.

I never really mind most of the things, but this time was an exception. He won't spout all this to my dad, right?

This is the first time I was thinking too much about things. Usually, I just let everything pass.

He was sitting beside me in the meeting and then in the car too.

In the car, sitting beside him, drown in thoughts.

I was having a feeling as if somehow I was being protected and that made me at ease.

After so long of relying on someone. It felt good.

It was just yesterday when I was so puzzled, and now I'm different. I'm not reluctant anymore to give him a chance.

“Why are you riding my car," I asked.

With a second of thought, he replied,

“ Have you heard of carpooling, it saves fuel, it's good for the environment, anyways we are heading the same way."

He always has good reasons.

“Never mind" I murmured.

*he laughed*

He showed something on his phone to the driver. Soon we reached a place, car stopped.

He opened the door for me.

When I was young I always watched Disney princesses and wished I were a princess,

but for that, I need a prince too.

Here he is, a prince in black opening the door for me.

He stretched his hand, Seems like.....this is my fantasy land.

A table with two chairs, beneath the clear sky,

Trees were wearing dresses customized.

Green land, soft grass, white walls high,

Without a roof, all decorated with lights.

Don't know when he prepared all these, but this was exactly like my fantasy land. As if I'm in dreams.

I followed him, He pulled the chair, dishes served.

All my favourite. I was shocked that how did he knew what my taste was, then I remembered that I have a traitor with me. So I didn't bothered to ask him about the dishes.

“you like it," he asked.

“yea!! just so so" I replied.

“Just so so!!! But I thought these were your favourite" he asked.

“Then why are you bothering to ask, just dig in" I said.

It feels so good to annoy him, it is some kind of satisfaction I have after not answering him straight.

I like to tease him, haha...

“So, this is our first date right" He said.

“No it's not. I'm here to thank you and just to have a simple meal, after this I'll pay for the dinner and we are over. You can call your driver to pick you up" I replied.

“Can you talk like a normal person just for once? I was just kidding and you panicked" he mocked me.

“who said I was panicked" I replied.

“Fine. anyway I have something to ask, may I?" he said.

I reacted normally. I said yes. But never knew what he was going to ask me.

His words were so simple and Polite but that freezed me for a while.

He asked me that if I was ready for the wedding.

“You must have been told about my dad's will, I have no problem with that but I don't want to force you. If you don't want to get married I can talk to your dad. I came all the way here to have a good talk with you as it doesn't only concern my future but also yours. I'll respect your choice. You don't have to pressurise yourself for my dad's will. So if you have something that you can't talk to your dad about, you can just tell me."

This was what he spoke at once. I never thought he'd be so straightforward.

I wanted to reject the Wedding as I thought I would do, but somehow I spoke the other way.

“I respected your father as my uncle and I respect his will too and also I believe my dad won't make any wrong decision. I'm ready to get married as the elders decided. Also, I trust you" I replied unconsciously.

He was kind of shocked as if he heard me talking for the first time. He was dazzled for a while and suddenly said “You trust me, you really said you trust me, say that again. please".

I denied it, I said, “you heard it wrong".

His happiness was written on his face.

It was really good to see him happy but I wanted to make things clear with him.

I also wanted to know if he was ready for the wedding. It was obvious but I still wanted to know his thoughts.

So I asked him if he had any problem with the marriage and his reply was obvious.

he said “ I have no problem with that, actually I was worried that you don't want to marry me and I don't want to force you. I was looking for an opportunity to talk to you about this all and all of the sudden uncle, your dad called me and asked me to come here to help you. I just thought this is a good chance to make things clear but I never expected you would say yes".

His words made me happy somehow. But I still was a bit nervous so I added on,

“I agreed to the marriage but, I have some conditions."

“Don't know why he looks so attractive today,

The first time I realise how handsome he was.

Don't know when I started believing in us,

But yes, this feeling was special and the first.

I'll let you hold my hand from now on but,

Can I trust you won't leave me at my worst"

“I was slowly accepting things, but still needed some time.

I'll become better with time, are you willing to wait for a while.

Will you stay by be me all this while, let's make our life taste fine.
