Clearing things out

After leaving the rooftop kookie walked to his office area and he saw the company's main producer scolding tae's crew members.

Producer was really mad at the whole crew. He raised his voice and asked "can anybody explain to me what the hell happened there? Taehyung isn't someone who takes work so leisurely. So i need to know what you guys did wrong?".

"where is taehyung's personal assistant and stylist? I clearly gave the instructions to jiwoo regarding this project. It will cost us a huge amount if something goes wrong with that agency and tell me who is going to pay?" he continued.

Then he saw kookie walking towards them. He turned to kookie and said "you are new here and You are his stylist right? Taehyung praised you so much some days before so can you atleast give me an explanation of what happened there? Did you cause any trouble?".

Kookie was standing there numb. He had no answer to give to his boss. He clearly knew that everything happened because of him. He was the sole reason. Now the whole crew is being blamed.

After few minutes of silence producer continued " why are you silent jungkook? Dont you have any explanation? If you did anything wrong there, will you pay the compensation for today's shoot".

" i will pay the money" a voice from behind said and it was tae who was standing at the door. He walked towards them.

"everything happened today because of me. Dont blame my crew. They did their job well today. I feel like not working with that agency anymore and I've my own reasons for that. I can pay any amount of compensation they seek". Tae said with a straight face. He was looking so serious.

Producer was starting at tae as if he was processing everything tae just bashed at him. After a minute of silence he said "ok then. Its your call. Come to my office later. I need more clarifications from you" and he left.

The whole crew was staring at tae so he felt the need to clarify it to them at least.

So he started talking "i know you guys are feeling quite weird right now. I know everyone worked really hard for this collaboration but i am not in a good position right now and i dont feel like doing the collab. So kindly please understand. I'll be at my practice room for a while. So please dont disturb " while talking to the crew he was constantly looking at kookie.

From hearing tae's voice, kookie was getting the hint that tae was also badly hurt.

Kookie felt like they need to clear things out as soon as possible.

Tae left for the practice room and kookie was loaded with work given by jiwoo.

It was evening time and slowly everybody was leaving the office. There was no sign of tae after he left for practice room.

Kookie asked his personal assistant but she said he have not yet came out of the room and maybe he'll be staying there for the night .

Kookie felt the urge to meet tae and ask if he was doing ok but he was really mad at tae for ruining everything that day.

He sat on the couch and thought for a while, whether to go and talk to tae or not.

After a while he took the decision to talk and sort things out. He was badly missing tae too.

He walked to tae's practice room. He reached in front of the room and stood there for a while. He was all confused of what to talk and how to solve things out.

He knocked on the door. Nobody answered. He was getting tensed. So he gently opened the door and saw that the lights of the room were switched off and it was pitch darkness in there.

Kookie called "tae. Are you here?".

There was only silence.

Kookie somehow managed to switch on the lights. He saw tae sitting on the floor at a corner of the room.

Kookie rushed towards him.

Tae was sitting there hiding his face between his knees. Kookie pushed tae towards him and gave him a tight hug.

Kookie asked "hey. What happened? Why are you sitting here all alone? Why didn't you call me if you were not feeling good? Its ok. Its all right. We are fine. Ok. Calm. Down".

Tae hugged him tightly and said, "jungkook, i thought i lost you for a moment. I never meant everything to happen this way. I understood what you said earlier. I was being so possessive over you and it wont be good for you. Maybe we shouldn't be together".

"what are you saying tae? How can you think of leaving me. We can get past this ok. Everything's fine. I am here. Its ok" kookie said while gently stroking tae's hair.

They both relieved from the moment and sat next to each other. Kookie was leaning on the shoulder of tae. They sat there in complete silence.

After a while kookie started talking " i need to clear this out tae. You cant act like this every time. It is your career that you are putting on stake right now. It was a phenomenal collaboration and you ruined it because of me. I cant take it that easily. I became the reason for you loss. I admire your singing and talent so i don't want to be the reason for you loosing something like that for me".

"i know kookie you are upset and you have reasons for getting mad at me. But i don't know how to explain that to you. I want you always, every minute every second. I trust you completely but that time i dont know why i lost it that way. I have only one thing to say , please don't think of leaving me ever." tae said while grabing to kookie's hands.

" i will never leave you. Tae. Even if things get hard for us, let us stay together for ever" said kookie with a teary eyed smile.

" i feel so much better now. For a moment i thought we'll never be the same. But look at us now, we are holding hands and smiling. Thank you my bunny face for coming here looking for me. I knew you would come for me" tae said with a smile.

"it's really late. We should probably go now. Drop me at my apartment. Ok" said kookie while standing up.

" can i stay with you there?" tae asked with a childish smile.

"no. Not going to happen today. Its your punishment for everything that you did today" laughed kookie while walking out of the room.

Both of them left the office and they reached in front kookie's apartment.

Kookie got out of the car and walked towards tae's window. He knocked on the glass and tae lowered it. Kookie leaned and planted a kiss on tae's lips.

It happened all of a sudden that tae was not able to give back the kiss. Kookie smiled at him.

" ok then. I'm going inside" kookie said and turned.

" hey. We are going somewhere this weekend. Be prepared. Pack some clothes too. Its a surprise. I'll come and pick you up early morning" said tae with a wide boxy smile and left.
