I'm glad I loved this story from the start even though i felt skeptical about the situation. At the start it just seemes like Adria was very childish and everyone was making a big deal out of what happened when she gave Kayden that drink after the game and was shot down. I just thought everyone handled things wrong but it wasn't a big deal. It's only in the recent chapters that i've come to understand the full extent of it, it was quite simply neglect and accumulated feelings of sorrow within Adria and it's heart-rendering.
I thought that was an isolated event surrounding Lai but no, it's a constant repeat of the same old disinterest in her affairs. I really thought she was being a typically teenager thinking the world is against her (we've all been there) so i thought she was very childish.
But no, this is deliberate and i understood that at the scene of the engagement party.
And i thought they would change when they heard her feelings but no😭 they acted like she should be grateful they gave her a chance to grow up. Like who does that
