Kim Ha Joon

"Ha Joon ah! take my hand"...I turned my back towards her again and closed my eyes in pain, squeezing out the tears. Suddenly a pair of hands rested on my shoulders, at first I thought it was her...the girl. But, "Ha Joon ah! Nuh Micheossuh?" (*Nuh Micheossuh means are you crazy in Korean) and started to shake me totally hard grabbing my shoulder. Suddenly after looking at the necklace in my hand, I from no where had the impression that I saw this same necklace around the girl's necklace just a while ago. Getting on my feet, I staggered as it was cold and numb from all the kneeling down position. Now I faced the person behind me, expecting to see the girl.

"Lee Sung Ho?" "What are you doing here" I asked him as I wasn't expecting him to be in the girl's place. "Ha Joon! what are you doing in this rain and what is that thing in your hand?". I slipped the necklace into my pocket and started to change the subject "Sung Ho, did you see girl here, she was standing here just 2 mins before?". Puzzled Lee Sung Ho replied "I didn't see any girl here, I was standing here about 5 to 10 mins. Ha Joon are you meeting any girl in secret?". Of course the typical Lee Sung Ho answer."By the way Sung Ho, did you follow me?". "Ya! Ha Joon ah, you started to run like a freak out of no where and I was just worried about you" Well, I can tell that Sung Ho was really worried. The rain stopped and we started to walk towards our home as we are more like neighbours too. "Ha Joon ah...You can tell me if anything is wrong or bugging you". I stopped on my tracks and stared at Lee Sung Ho. "Don't look at me like that Kim Ha Joon. It's because I was worried that you cried really hard back there.". "What me...did I?...Ya Sung Ho don't joke around". "Ha Joon ah you really cried hard after taking something in your hand from the ground, as if you have lost someone. Are you sure, you are okay?". Lee Sung Ho looked real serious about this issue and I couldn't avoid his questioning eyes. "Sung Ho ah I am really fine. Oh! Sung Ho, can we have study together today". "Ya! Ha Joon, you are no fun". Sung Ho knows how to change my mind, so we planned to study in his house. Well, it was because we are gonna have fun in the name of studying and that's what a teenager does, right?

Well days passed by without a stop and now two years have passed and I still have dreams of that girl. But this time she was in hanbok, wearing the Mugunghwa flower necklace, like what happened on that rainy day. This time rather than running down streets to catch her, I always try to take the hands that she reached out for me. But every time what I did was fail. Never did I succeeded in my dreams, but partially I succeeded in my real life. No no no! I didn't mean that I found the girl in real life. Rather I did somehow succeeded to pave my path to my dream career. Many things happened in the last year. I, Kim Ha Joon, turned 17 last year and was in last year of High school. Nothing happened unusual, like meeting that unusual girl except in dreams. Suddenly in between the last year I got   an opportunity to perform an idol song with my group of friends during one of the celebrations in my school. Unfortunately I forgot why the celebration happened but something great happened. Unexpectedly one of the idol producer from the popular and top notch entertainment company called BEGINS came to our celebration as a guest. After the celebration everyone was busy with our studies because our final last year high school exams were approaching. Few days after the celebration I got a call from someone saying they were calling from BEGINS the top notch and popular entertainment company, and the reason why they called me was because they seemed to be impressed by my talent. Well, I didn't know what they meant at that time and took it as another prank call. But then suddenly one day the well known idol producer himself came to me and discussed the prank call, well that is what I presumed to be. Rather it wasn't. So, we cleared up the misunderstanding and the idol producer himself was very interested in me, sorry in my talent, face and market value, and wanted me to join his company as a trainee.That was the biggest joke and an incident happened last year.
