Here is her background story
Her full name is uzumaki kurina in konoha village and kurina dragneel in magnolia city. She has a long shiny red hair just like her mother, uzumaki kushina (konoha fact) her hair was red because of her dad's pink hair and her mom's black hair mixed up together (Magnolia fact). When she was born, she has been cursed by someone from akatsuki and the curse is called yuringan . Just because of the people in ninja world scared of the curse, she use her long red hair to cover her right eye so that they can't see. In konoha, kurina is known as the strongest kunoichi and in magnolia she is known as the strongest wizard or dragon slayer. Kurina can't always be with her family because of her mission to save the world from destroy. For example, she need to stay at the wall city for 5years to kill all the titans that exist.

Dragon cry:
Igneel gave kurina the dragon cry in chaptor Shape. But, kurina have an idea how to summon it quickly so she turn the dragon cry into a small piece. She put it on her bun, (hair). She also changed the design and look. She also can change it into a sword and archer
