Chapter Three: The Journey Back Home

*Ally's Pov*

Taking back controll of my own head after leaving the asylum, I had wondered where I was taken all those years ago when I was just eight years old. I wasn't too sure on the location, all I knew was that I was still in my home state. My mother had always told us if we ever got lost that all we had to do was follow the river that flowed through our small town, because our house sat at the end of it on top of a huge hill. My problem was that river was nowhere to be found which meant I wasn't in the same town. Looking closer at where the asylum was, it was on top, and on the edge, of a cliff. I turned to look at the name of the asylum and it read, Whisperwood Asylum. I could only assume that the town below was named Whisperwood. I then turned back around and began my journey home. First stop was the town below, I needed new clothes if I wanted to blend in with the other humans, not to mention I needed to ask for directions. It didn't take me very long to walk down to the town as it was shorter then it looked when at the asylum gates. Over all it was a nice nighttime walk, and yes it was nighttime when I escaped. It was honestly a great bonus to the escape because I wasn't sure how id react to natural light for the first time in ten years. when I reached the town I saw how busy it was even for nighttime. It pissed me off more then I thought it would. How could you people all live so peacefully when there are people suffering because you all decided they weren't socially acceptable?! My head was basically screaming these silent words. Growling lowly I decided id have a little bit more fun when looking for new clothes to change into. Picking a random house I managed to slip in through an open window silently and hearing feint heart beats in the upper floor told me these residents were sleeping and that there were only two people living here. Walking up the stairs they didn't squeak beneath my feet which was good because I didn't want to wake them. Reaching the room where they were sleeping I heard the television on, which made me tilt my head in confusion, how stupid could these humans be? Not only was the window open but they were sleeping with a tv on pretty loud. They were basically begging for me to come here and kill them. I still had my ax with me so opening the door slowly I saw the male sleeping on his back on the left side of the bed and the female was on her right side on the right side of the bed. Shaking my head I almost felt sorry for them I walked up to the male and swung my ax directly into his chest causing him to jolt awake screaming. That ultimately woke up his woman who fell out of the bed screaming. Leaving the ax in the males chest I walked up to the cowering woman and knelt down tilting my head 'Where is the river? I need to get home..' She only kept screaming and crying. Rolling my eyes she was starting to get on my nerves, so grabbing her by her hair I stood up and begun to drag her into the bathroom, where I locked the door behind me. Letting her go I spoke as calmly as I could 'where is the river? You'll live if you manage to help me.' When I said she'd live that's when she became cooperative with me. 'I-i im not too sure which river you're talking about as Akaron has a ton of them but the closest one is in the next town over. I think the town is called Boneshire.' That was all I needed to know. My family were stupid enough to only send me a town over. Now that I got all the information I needed I opened the door and shut her in, breaking the lock so she couldn't get out. T had noticed there were no windows in that bathroom so she'd starve to death slowly. Smirking I looked over at the male who had gone quiet. I could very faintly hear his heartbeat which told me he was close to death. I scavenged through there room for a good five minutes trying to find new clothes that would fit me, but instead I found a teddy bear that I was actually quite fond of. Next I had found a sweater that I just slipped over my asylum outfit and a pair of sweatpants that I replaced my bloodied pants with. they were both slightly big on me so they were very baggy but I wasn't concerned how I looked. Slipping back out into the night I began heading into the direction I assumed the next town over was, every now and then a street sign helping to confirm me going in the right direction.
