Controlling Nightmares

Controlling Nightmares

Prologue:

..."Ally time to get out of bed!" Groaning softly, I didn't want to get up yet. It was warm under the covers and I hated the cold, which my room was always freezing. Yet I knew I had to get up because my family planed a stupid party for my little sister. It was her birthday and the little brat always received grand parties, where as I always got a card with a simple 'Happy Birthday Ally' written on it. I always hated getting dragged into helping set everything up but I didn't have many friends to go out with so I always just kept silent and did as I was told. Gasping awake as I felt cold, ice water, being thrown onto me I then remembered where I actually was. I wasn't safe at home, no.. that was merely a dream. One dream that was never going to come true. I was actually at the Whisperwood Mental Asylum. Growling deeply as I opened my crimson red eyes I looked directly at the one who had inconsiderately thrown ice water onto me. Seeing the nervous wreck I knew right away, they had sent new meat to me. It was probably the poor mans first day on the job. Chuckling slightly he was very lucky I was still tired. Looking at the bundle of chains and the muzzle he held in his hands, I knew it was probably the 7am switch over. They enjoyed switch my cell around due to them thinking it confused me and made it hard for me to think properly. Though that was only because I made them think that. Usually id put up a fight but today was different, I wanted to play with my new friend longer then most lasted. So willing letting him put on the chains and the muzzle I could see how that made him feel inferior to the others due the the smirk he wore. It took all my strength to behave myself and quietly walk to my other cell. This one was completely padded but instead of all white this one was an all black with no lights so I was in complete darkness untill lunch time. Where if i was good, id be able to go into the court yard with the other patients. Most of the time I was transferred to the old cell in account to me usually hurting a few guards, and hospitalizing them. Feeling the chains fall from my wrists and ankles I could tell he hesitated on taking off the muzzle, but confusing him as I simply walked to the left corner of the room and sitting down silently I watched as he left and locked me into darkness with nothing but my thoughts and the screams of other patients to keep me company. This was a normal day in my life here at the asylum, but what most didn't know was I had other plans, and they were going to come true soon....
