"run for your lives!" karube screams and starts to run, soon followed by arisu and chota

"y/n what're you doing we have to go!" arisu yells towards your still figure standing in the crowded streets of tokyo

you quickly snap out of the trance you were caught in and start running alongside the boys trying your best not to bump into anymore people

you all enter the station still running and searching for a place to hide

"there!" chota points to the staircase

the four of you start bolting to the staircase only to turn around halfway there when you see police officers coming from that way

"****" karube sighs

"the bathroom!" arisu suggests, the others start running towards it with no hesitation while you on the other hand don't

karube takes notice in your stillness

"what the **** are you doing dumbass get a move on" he turns around to grab your jacket sleeve, rushing you forward and towards the bathroom

"karu i'm a girl i can't go in there!" you squeal at him once the two of you reach the outside of the door

he blushes very slightly at the nickname you gave him when the two of you were only twelve years old

"well you already look like a dude so just get your *** in there" he pushes you inside

you quickly turn around and give him a light slap in the face for the nonchalant insult he just threw at you, now turning back around to see your other two friends in the way end stall

"hurry" they rush the two of you into the stall with them and lock it the second the both of you are in

the four of you soon make eye contact and laughs from all of you threaten to come out and give up your hiding spot

you give them all a quick "shh" and motion towards your phone. they get the idea and pick up their own phones and start texting the group chat

"which one of you farted?' chota texts the chat and that only makes you want to laugh even more, and you almost do but karube saves your *** by quickly placing his hand over your mouth

he gives you a quick look and you know what he's asking 'can i move my hand or are you gonna get us all caught?'

you nod your head slightly and he removes his hand

as soon as he does the entire room gets dark

"what the ****" you quietly say out loud to your friends

"power outage" chota says

"let's go check it out" you open the stall door very slowly

"you stay behind me" karube says to you and switches your position so now he's the first one out

"there's nobody else in the bathroom" you say to yourself

you soon make it out of the bathroom and to the actual station area

"it's empty in here too" you note

"where is everyone?" you ask the three boys

"let's get outside" arisu suggests. you all follow

his suggestion and make your way there

the four of you all gaze at the abandoned streets of tokyo

"huh?" you let out a confused sigh

"what's going on?" chota asks

"there's nobody here" arisu says

"nobody is here" karube whispers to himself

slight time skip

karube checked the bar, chota checked his work, you checked your home, and arisu checked every street within a certain radius

there was nothing

nobody to be found besides the four of you

and now here you all are sitting together in the streets of tokyo filled by darkness

but you didn't mind too much

these were your best friends, they were the only people you needed. so if it so happens that everyone else has disappeared you didn't mind because you had the people you need with you

you were all laughing together when an almost blinding light took you all by surprise

you all stare at it in confusion when it suddenly displays a message
