Episode 4: Goodnight

I sigh and think: Do I really wanna tell him? Why should I it could be to my advantage some day?

He looks at me confused “Well are you gonna tell me?”

I thinks for another second. I say “You know what yea I am because maybe I might be able to trust you one day.”

He smiles “Who said I would help?”

I frown “Well I thought since you said your only mean with Burn that meant you weren’t gonna be mean to me.”

He smiles at me “I’m just kidding, I won’t be mean to you, your to cute to be treated wrong.”

I flinch but ignore his comment and I just blurt out “I can control wind. I can create tornadoes and destroy everything. I can even suffocate people with it.” I sigh and sit up straighter “But I don’t wanna think about the harm I could do but the good.”

Jason looks at me and studies me for a second. “So you have the perfect power to be a bad guy but you wanna be a good guy?”

I look at him “Having a good power doesn’t make me a hero or a villan. I’m doing it for me and to take the high road.”

He looks at me curiously “What are you taking the high road from?”

I sigh sadly “Two years ago a villan killed my mother. They burned her to death. And they left her body in the road. So I’m taking the high road and taking them down with the law.”

Jason looks at me with a serious look. “None of the villains from the last three years have the power of fire.”

My jaw drops. “Your serious, none of the villains have a fire power?”

He shakes his head “Nope and anyways why did you assume a villain did it? Hero’s can be just as bad ya know.”

I shake my head “Only a villain would do such a terrible act!”

“Not all of us villains are as bad as we look ya know.” He responds. He walks to his room and he returns with a blanket and pillow and a black long T-shirt. He hands me the T-shirt. “Here this is all I got and I will sleep in here. So you can change in the bathroom and sleep in my room. It’s down the hall to the left and the bathroom is right across from it. But please don’t break something.”

I take the shirt “ Thanks, and don’t worry I won’t.” I walk down to the bathroom I change into the T-shirt. It in-gulfs me. I ball my other clothes up and I walk back out. “Hey can we wash these so that I have some lean clothes for tomorrow?”

He nods “Sure throw them in the washer it’s in the kitchen.” I walk over to it and I throw it in.

I walk past him but I stop and turn and face him. “Uhhh thanks by the way for everything.”

He smiles and nods “It’s really not a problem.”

I smile “Good night now.” I walk back to his room. I shut and lock the door and I almost instantly fall asleep with out a care in the world.

He whispers “Goodnight, my little twister.”
