Alison pleaded with Alex, still in a towel wrapped around his hips.
Alison: Get dressed, you degenerate.
Alex: Hahaha, you don't like what you see?
Alison blushed, hurried into the bathroom, showered, and emerged in a robe, realizing she hadn't brought her clothes.
Alex: I do like what I see.
Alex left the room.
Alison went to the closet, found a new uniform, got dressed, and went downstairs to have breakfast.
Alison: Thank you for the uniform.
Alex: You're my wife, you have to dress accordingly.
Alison finished breakfast.
Alison: Alright, goodbye.
Alex: Wait!
Alison: What's wrong?
Alex approached, grabbed her waist, and kissed her lips.
Alex: Is that how you say goodbye to your husband?
Alison: Noted.
She darted out of the room and got into the car.
Alison: Hi, Clark.
Clark: Good morning, ma'am.
Alison: Drop the formalities, will you?
Clark: Off to the university?
Alison: Of course.
Alison got out of the car; a few students were watching her. She had a normal day, but Ana once again harassed her to meet her uncle, which she ignored. During recess, she took advantage of the break to go to the backyard. She was reading a book when Joseph, the most popular guy in the university, stared at her while drawing. After finishing, he approached her.
Joseph: Alison?
Alison: Hello.
Alison remembered Alex's condition not to get close to any man.
Joseph: I would like to invite you after classes.
Alison: Sorry, I can't.
Joseph: Why?
Alison: I'm busy; I fell behind on my studies.
Alison ran off when she saw Clark approaching.
She went to the classroom and, as soon as the day ended, decided to leave 10 minutes early to avoid Ana bothering her. She ran toward the car.
Clark: Shall we go?
Alison: Yes, by the way, Clark, if you saw me talking to that guy earlier, he asked me about a job; there's no need to tell Alex.
Clark: Don't worry, I noticed it didn't last more than 3 minutes.
Alison: Thanks.
She arrived at the mansion, changed clothes, went downstairs to have something to eat, but saw no sign of Alex. She went to the office where she found a new MacBook and iPhone on her desk, along with a note that said "For my wife."
Alison didn't take them; they were too expensive to accept as a gift. Despite being Alex's wife, it was just a name, there was nothing between them. The fewer things she had from him, the easier it would be to end this game.
In the evening, Alison was having dinner, and Alex still hadn't returned to the mansion. She thought he might not come tonight. She later went to her bedroom, took a shower, and went to bed.
Alex entered the room.
Alex: I'm sorry for not joining you for dinner.
Alison: It's okay, I thought you wouldn't come to sleep either.
Alex: Why would you think that?
Alison: You must have a lot of work.
Alex: Yes, a bit. Did you open your gifts?
Alison: I can't accept them; they're too expensive.
Alex: I'm your husband, can't I give expensive gifts to my wife?
Alison: We're only married on paper.
Alex: Do you want to make it official?
Alison: It's not what I'm talking about; you forced me into this marriage. It doesn't mean it's a normal one.
Alex became enraged, grabbed Alison, pushed her onto the bed, and held both her hands, raising them as he began to passionately kiss her with anger. Allison struggled to breathe as he increased the pressure and used his other hand to touch her thighs.
Alison: Stop, Alex, remember your promise.
Alex knew that if he continued, he could hurt Alison, so he stood up and entered the bathroom.
