The sky was reddish yellow. The sun was still shyly hiding on the eastern horizon, not yet willing to show itself completely. Several birds were flying here and there. The atmosphere was still calm, there was no strong wind blowing, just a gentle breeze.
Axijim woke up quite late that day. He woke up when the sun was about as high as a spear, probably because he was tired from helping his parents yesterday.
He yawned. "It's already morning, huh. I'll wash my face first so I'm fresh."
"What's the best thing to do this early in the morning?" Thinking for a moment, Axijim decided, "Ah, just go for a morning run. It's rare for me to do this."
Axijim then prepared himself for a morning run around the village.
"Mom...! Dad...! Let's go for a morning run first..."
"Yes, son, be careful...!"
"Yes... greetings, I'll take my leave first..." Axijim started running.
"Ah, the air is cool this morning. Calm down, there's only a gentle breeze."

A beautiful, peaceful, and calm morning enveloped Axijim Village. An atmosphere that might be hard to find in other villages. A gentle breeze greeted the body with a cool feeling. The green of the trees and the yellow of the rice fields spoiled the eyes of everyone who saw it. The sound of the gurgling irrigation water and the chirping of birds added to the beauty and peace of the village. A thin mist still covered the hills, adding to the natural beauty of Axijim Village.
Axijim ran and enjoyed it all. He was grateful to live and grow up in this peaceful village.
Suddenly, he met a villager carrying a bow and arrow container on his back. Maybe, the villager was going hunting.
For a moment, Axijim thought about the task given by Guru Archer a few days ago.
"Will I be able to hold the bow and lift it properly later? Hopefully I can. Dad trained me yesterday. Now, I'll just run around to relax my sore body," Axijim muttered to himself as he continued running.

"Mom...! Where are you going?" asked Meda.
"Mom is going to look for firewood, son. Your firewood is finished."
"Can I come with you, Mom...?" asked Meda.
"No need, son. You'll get tired."
"Ugh, Mom..." Meda sulked.
"Later, Mom will invite Brother Axij. You can just play at home with Dad."
"Ugh, Mom..." Meda was still sulking.
"You can't do that!"
"Okay then," said Meda with a pouting face.
**
"I better go home now, maybe Mom and Dad need my help." Said Axijim.
Arriving home,
"Greetings, Ma'am," Axij greeted his mother in front of the house.
"Greetings too, Son, have you run this morning?"
"Yes, Ma'am."
"Oh, I'll help you later, Son."
"Help you with what, Ma'am?"
"Looking for firewood in the garden and harvesting cotton."
"Okay, Ma'am. What should Axij prepare?"
"Get the bag from the kitchen, Son."
"Okay, Ma'am," Axij answered. Then, he took the bag from the kitchen.
"Here's the bag, Ma'am."
"Put it there, Son."
"Ma'am, are we about to harvest cotton?"
"Yes, Son. While the price of cotton is going up."
"Why did it go up, Ma'am?"
"That's because the sailors need cotton cloth to make their ship's sails. The fishing season has arrived, so they need a lot of ship sails."
"Oh, so the sailors are making ship sails to catch fish, Ma'am?"
"Yes, Son."
**
"Let's go! Mom is ready."
"Son, have you brought your bag?"
"Yes, Mom. Let's go."
"Meda, Dad! We're going to the garden now, okay?" Mom said a little loudly.
"Yes, my wife. Be careful on the road!"
Meda, who was playing inside the house, immediately came out to meet Mom. "Be careful, Mom!"
"Yes, my son." (Mom kissed Meda's forehead).
"Greetings, we're going now," Axij said.
"Greetings." Meda answered.
"Bye.., my son! Mom is going now. Greetings."

Axijim and his mother left for the cotton garden. When they arrived there, Axijim exclaimed, "Mom, we're here! Wow, there's a lot of cotton!"
"That's right," his mother answered. "Later we'll harvest the cotton. Now, let's look for dry wood and collect it here, okay!"
"Okay, Mom," Axijim said.
Axijim and his mother looked for dry wood until they had collected a lot.
"Mom, there's a lot of wood," said Axijim.
"Thank God," replied his mother.
Mother then tied the wood so that it would be easy to carry home.
"Axijim, now let's help Mom, let's harvest the cotton!"
"Okay Mom," replied Axijim.
"Take the cotton and put it in the bag you brought earlier. Also pick up any that fall!"
"Yes Mom," said Axijim.
They harvested enough cotton to fill the bag Axijim brought.
"Mom, the cotton is finished. The bag is also full. How about we go home now?"
"Yes, son. Let's go home."
"You carry the bag, and Mom will carry this firewood."
Axijim and his mother then walked home.
**
When they got home, "Axij, put the bag in the kitchen, Mom will spin it tomorrow." Mother asked.
"Okay, Mom." Axij put the bag in the kitchen. Then, he saw Meda playing in the living room.
Axij greeted Meda, "Greetings, Sis."
"Greetings, Bro. Are you home?"
"Yes, Kid." While walking towards the kitchen. He greeted his father who was busy with his hunting equipment again, "Greetings, Dad."
"Greetings too, son. Did you get a lot of cotton?"
Axij answered, "A lot, Dad. A whole bag."
