What’s more dangerous than supernatural beings? The answer to that is parents well at least to me. As I walk toward the door I can hear my parents laughing and talking to someone but it wasnt a voice that I recognized. Walking into the room with Vincent they automatically stopped talking. Infront of me there was a skinny short lady with long blonde hair and green eyes she was beautiful.

“Hey talking about her there she is the pride and joy of this house!” My dad points at me. “Come on Rose say hello to? Sorry I forgot your name?” My mom said to the lady.

“Hello Rose…” she extended her hand to me and shook it while she looked at me from top to bottom “My name is Katherine Richmond.. Hello Vincent how have you been?”

“Hello, Mrs. Richmond I’ve been well..how have you been?” Vincent was so polite and proper. Realizing that Vince was next to me, and yet I had not presented him too my parents.

“Hello Mr and Mrs. Parker I am Vincent Star I’m” he gave me a naughty smile “he’s a friend from work!” I almost yelled.

Both of my parents just looked at him while he was standing next to me with two bouquets and bags then they turned, and looked at me next to him. In that moment I knew I was a goner there was no way they were not going to ask more questions specially since I didn’t come home yesterday. Plus I wasn’t wearing my clothes these were new clothes. Oh yeah this isn’t going to end well.

“So, your her friend from work?”my dad asked very defensively “Well, yes and no I met your daughter there while she was working. She great at what she does” He wraps his hand on my shoulder, while looking down at me smiling.

My dad was about to say something but my mom cut him short. “Soo.. Rose!..Katherine came here to talk to us about enrolling you to Richmond University with a full ride scholarship!” Her face was excited now I knew why my parents were happy and excited when I got home. “Mrs. Katherine…May I ask how?”

“My precious girl you earned it we occasionally give out these scholarships too people that deserve to go to the university” Katherine was so sweet but I don’t understand why me out of all people would they choose me only the son’s and daughters of the elite or extremely talented got accepted there.

“Uhm.. I really don’t know what to say” I told her that’s when my dad spoke “She’ll be there next week ! She accepts!” I looked at my dad in shock he did this decision for me.

“Great!! I will see you there! Rosalie I hope too see you more often ok” she looked excited that I was going there but why? As she walked toward the door with my parents she turned around “Hey Vincent! Don’t you think you have to go too! I believe Rosalie has things too discuss with her parents” the tone she spoke was a little bit more assertive he knew there wasn’t an option.

“Well it seems that I have to leave you here bab…Rose” Vincent gave me a hug and headed to the door. My parents and Katherine both looked at him as he hugged me.

My parents said bye too both of them, and for the first time I didn’t want Vincent to leave me alone. I was going fo die ones those doors closed I was a gonner!

“Soo who is Vincent!”my dad asked I looked at him. I couldn’t even start explaining who he was. “Is he your boyfriend! I hope soo!” My mom taunted me she giggled. Why are my parents not killing me right now for not coming home, showing up in different clothes and with a man next too me.

“Look kiddo I was a little concerned honestly. I thought you were never going to bring a boy over to meet us”. My mom smiled she didn’t look surprised or mad she was actually happy what the f**k. “Well, I guess this day was coming, and he doesn’t look like a bad kid” my dad spoke.

“Who are you guys? And what have you done with my parents!” I looked at them in shock I was expecting them to rip me a new one instead they are here encouraging that I brought a man home. They both laughed.

“See Rose your mother and I were starting to think that maybe you were not into the whole dating and going out type of course we don’t want you too go crazy, but we did expect you too do something” my dad spoke. “Kiddo we are proud of the woman that you have been turning into but you are allowed to date and have fun. Not everything is work that’s why we think this is the perfect opportunity for you to go to Richmond, and experience that without thinking of work and school”

I looked ar my parents what could I have done to have such awesome parents. I hugged them “thank you mom and dad, but Vincent is not my boyfriend he is just a friend” I told them.

“Well kid that’s not what he thinks I can tell you that” my dad spoke. I wanted to change the conversation

“Well since I’m going to start school next week I need to go to work to get new uniforms” I told my parents while getting out of my clothes and into my black dress for work.

“See you mom and dad” they gave me a hug and off I went to find the bus. Sitting there thinking of how lucky I was. How this opportunity is going to help me financially, and by all means I would be graduating from a prestigious school the opportunities that I would be receiving.

I decided to get off one buss stop before my job there was a shop that sold the Richmond University uniforms. I wanted to get it before Monday and today was the only day had time too. During the weekend I help my parents with the business so I really don’t have time.

Walking in to the store I felt like a fish out of water. The sales ladies looked sophisticated and well trained I attempted several times to get there attention and they just ignored me. I decided to look at the shirts my self. Omg!! $800 dollars for a shirt a damn shirt and $600 for the skirt are they stupid! But regardless I had to buy them.

“Excuse me.. excuse me!” The sales lady was ignoring me. “Excuse me! Can I see a x small in both of these it doesn’t seem like you guys have that size in the racks over there” the sales lady just looked at me from the bottom up “Look here I don’t have that size anymore in that particular model I have it in a new style but by the way you look I don’t think you can afford it”. The audacity of this bi**h I was going to rip her a new one before I could speak a very familiar low masculine voice behind me spoke, and the smell of cologne came into my nose.

“Look at here Ms. I don’t care what your name is! How dare you speak to her like that!” I knew by the voice and the smell who it was exactly who it was. It was Alex..the one other sales lady quickly headed over to the other rep and whispered something in her ear before she could get a word out. Her face turned a little pale.

“Look here… I’m make this very very clear to you… you will apologize too her, and or you can consider yourself fired!” Alex yelled. The sales lady quickly apologized she was in the verge of crying. “Alex, stop she doesn’t have apologize. She can just give me the size I need and that’s all” I felt bad for her yes I wanted to vent my anger earlier but watching her being like that I felt bad.

“No! I have to correct this they can’t be treating customers like this” Alex looked at me. “Come on let’s go try it on” he grabbed me by my waist, and I just let him why I don’t know. Maybe because I kinda felt attracted to someone that could have that type of power but it was also scary because I knew what type of creature he was. Was he going to kill her if she didn’t apologize. I walked into the dressing room changed looked in the mirror this skirt is a little too low but I guess that’s how it was designed.

Changing back into my clothes I decided to go and pay for it. I looked around for Alex to thank him but he wasn’t no longer no where to be found I walked to the counter were the same lady proceeded to check me out. She wrapped the uniform and gave it to me waiting for the amount due. I thought that after this I was officially going to be broke, and I was going to have too work double just to afford this and god know what else.

It’s ok Rosalie I can do this at least I don’t have to pay for school now. I attempted to give the card too the sale rep she declined.

“It has already been payed for is there anything else you’ll like? you can take anything you want in this store”. The representative spoke I looked at her dumbfounded. “I do apologize again this will never happen again you are welcome to get anything you want from this store whenever you need too the other reps have been already instructed too do so”. Damn it Alex

“Please charge me” I handed over my card again. “Please ma’am I can’t take this if I do I’ll probably loose my job”. I was pissed even though I admit I liked how he protected me I wasn’t the type to receive anything free.

Walking out of the store a familiar car pulls up. “Hey babe!! I see that you did some shopping with out me! How’s mom and dad?” Wait mom and dad what the hell!! “Vince l!!” I was going to tell him something when he had already touched my back and started to heading me toward the door.

“Damn it Vince!! Stop doing that!” I yelled at him he just laughed. “I’m sorry babe. I can’t help if your head over heels for me!” Damn it Vince. I just gave up I knew there no point of me getting mad at him he wasn’t going to care.

I worked my shift walking out crowed a girls were in the front. Walking pass it I knew who was waiting for me. “Hey babe! Let’s go I’ll take you home! Sorry ladies I’m taken already!” I can hear the sighs from the girls. In the short period of time I learned that there’s no way to avoid Vincent when he puts his mind on it.

Getting into the car with Vincent I start to wonder how my Monday was going to be..
