Basic training begins

I grabbed my rope and grapples and shot one to the ground, “pfft” the gun shoots the hook into the ground, I grab the rope and pull myself to the ground I’m about 2 miles away from the base, on the visor a face pops up in the right corner. “ welcome to the bad trainee your next weeks are going to be hell on earth, we’ll you get the point, anyway your first training exercise is to get back to the base once your on the ground your boots will have a magnetic affect to keep you there untill you step, good luck cadet, your advanced commander training begins.” Just as quick the voice and face first apaired it disappeared from the visor.

Thinking to my self damn this should be easy I though training was hard, right after he finishes thinking that a mini map showed up in the top left corner and a natification thingy that says distance to base (beta 2.0)

“What the hell is up with this bullsh*t 7 miles is a long a*s walk… they weren’t kidding about this being hell on earth, according to the introduction letter you can use your com system to communicate with people let’s see if we can get a group togther there are also traps here to prevent any civilians to get to the training bases. If I can find someone who is willing to fallow my lead we can get through the jurny quicker!

After a long jurny a blue dot showed up on the map about half a mile out. Slowly making its way towards me a notification popped up saying I am cadet Marshall I’m in the vice captain training regiment would you like to team up with me? I respond back saying I am cadet bates in the captain training regiment I would gladly team up with you to make our way through quicker! In a few minutes we met up we couldn’t really see what each other looked like but we trusted each other with our lives. “I believe if we take small rest while the carry’s is we will make it there quicker” I said after we greater each other “ Yeah sure that works. I have a question though what is your special skill? My skill is close rang mastery what is yours? I bet it’s good because you are a commander trainee.” Said Marshall with a respective tone. “ Oh also my other talent is in equipment maintenance and repair I’ve also designed some minor equipment! Did you know that they have little compressors that compress the air outside and you can use it to propose yourself further and faster! Maybe we could use that to get to base Beta 2.0?”

“ really?!, that’s amazing what if we each grabbed each other one controls turning and dodging objects and the controls speed?,” was my response being shocked that there was a even faster way to the base than what I thought, maybe me and Marshall could be good friends and actually see each other face to face. But I don’t want to tell Marshall my special skill very few people have it I’m lucky most would say. But I say it’s a curse.
