Morning

I blinked as sunlight streamed in through the windows and landed on my face.

Days seemed to be flying by at such a breakneck pace that I couldn't keep up.

Everything is so void.

I shifted to a seated position on the bed.

Morning...

Another boring morning means another day spent daydreaming about her.

It irritates me.

I despise myself for not being able to forget her.

Her laughter, smile, antics, and memories are all tormenting me.

Sighing lightly, I rose from my bed and went to the bathroom. I had to go to work today.

I've already neglected my work for a few days.

I showered and made myself a breakfast, as she did every day.

Forcing down the memories that keep reappearing in my mind.

I ate my breakfast and did some light cleaning around the house.

She despised a dirty house and constantly use to chastise me for my bad habits.

But she isn't here anymore. Then why is it so difficult to forget her.

I had no idea how empty a person could feel.

I had no idea how important she was.

Keeping myself sane in some way.
