I awoke in the morning to find that my feet were at my pillow, and my head was at the other side of my bed. 'How did this happen? Oh right, I always end up waking in super awkward positions. A new one each day.' I reminded myself.
I got up and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. After I changed into jeans and a white 'LEVI'S' shirt, I came downstairs and it was empty. Where was everyone? I walked into the living room and caught a glimpse of a clock. It was 6:37?! 'How is the world could I have woken up so early? Eh, might as well give go for a test drive on SKT Sky Model 2.0. I might as well go to a mall.' I thought.
I grabbed my keys, debit card, and VIP pass to 'Crystallite Mall'. I put on my glasses and a black mask. I went to the car garage and got into the drivers seat. I pressed the button on my car garage mini-remote and a gate opened, "Crystallite Mall, here I come!" I shouted happily.
Once I arrived at the mall entrance, I took a left turn (unlike the car in front of me) towards the VIP parking lot. There was a guard dude there and he stopped me, even though he had a look like he knew I was able to go here (which was probably because of my car).
He then said "Pass please" in an indifferent tone.
"Yessir, here you go." I said, giving him my VIP pass.
He swooshed the pass against some scanner on his belt and said,
"Here you go, feel free to choose any lot."
I pulled down my mask, smiled and said "Thanks" then pulled my mask back up again.
I drove ahead and found a perfect spot close to the VIP entrance. The only problem was that it had a reservation sign, so I took the lot right next to it. By now it was about 7:30, that meant reservations had started about 30 mins ago, but oh well, that was fine. I still got a good lot anyway.
I got out of my car (which I decided to name 'Red' because I'm pretty much obsessed with it now) and walked to the entrance. Once I entered, I headed straight to LEVI'S and started to look for some shirts that weren't white (cuz I have wayyyy too many white shirts).I found a big blue shirt that I happened to like so I decided to take it. I looked around some more, and saw a red hoodie, it was nearing fall anyway, I might as well take it. Right next to it was another one, except black, I decided to get that too.
I walked up to the cashier and placed my hoodies and T-shirt on the counter in front of her. The cashier scanned the barcodes and said,
"That'll be $135.99 please."
I gave her my VIP card and she scanned that too. She handed back the card and started packing up the clothes in a big white paper bag that said 'LEVI'S'. In a few seconds, she handed the bag to me and said "Thank you for shopping!"
I nodded and walked out. After finishing shopping, Then I remembered that Eve didn't have a phone. So, I decided to buy a phone for her and I went to The Pear Store.

Meanwhile, in the VIP parking lots.....
"Who the hell would park right next to a reserved lot!? Did they want to purposely make it hard for us to park?"
A man with sunglasses, a black mask, and a white cap said.
(Just so you know, this is Leo raging...)
"Leo, I just realized that I need to attend a meeting at work soon. Why don't you shop for the stuff you need?"
"Dad, you can't fool me. You just want me to get new and "better" clothes without you having to pay, right?"
"No way! I would never!"
"Just leave! I'll go and shop for new clothes, you don't have to stay. I know you aren't rich enough to buy so many clothes for me from Crystallite Mall."
"Great, I'll just call a taxi up. You can go in."
"Ya ya, sure."
'Tch. Can't believe he actually forced me to come here while knowing that I'm a famous idol! *sigh* Whatever' Leo thought once he entered Crystallite Mall. Then he suddenly stopped and mumbled,
'Wait, was that a Sky Model 2.0?' He backed up and went back out to examine the car. 'Heh, I have a better car anyway.' He thought to himself. By now his dad had left. Wait, his car was gone too!? "Dad, you must be a complete idiot! How am I gonna' get back now!?" Leo shouted.
Back to the main story....
Once I walked out the Pear Store, I paused, thinking about where to go next, the my stomach growled. 'Right, I forgot to eat breakfast this morning...' I thought to myself. I saw the Crystallite Mall Exclusive VIP Café and walked towards it. I stepped in and walked up to the ordering counter.
"I'll have a Blueberry Muffin, a Red Velvet Cake Slice, and a Caramel Frappuccino." I said after a minute of thought.
"Yes ma'am, please sit down at table 7. Your order will come in a few minutes."
"Sure, thanks" I said, and walked off to table 7.
After a few minutes, I got my order. I took off mask and placed it in my sling purse. I was about to dig in when Someone shouted,
"Ashlynn Aaron, what are you doing here!?" I knew almost immediately who it was, but knowing that he was a famous idol, I decided to cover for him.
"Hey Lex! I didn't know that you'd be here. Why don't you come here and sit!" I grimaced, while grabbing his arm to sit down at my table.
"So, what are you doing here Judge Leo?" I asked him quietly.
"Call me Leo! And the real question is what are you doing here." He shot back.
"Well, I'm just here for a test drive in my first car," I said proudly. "And to shop of course." I added.
"You got a new car, huh? Wait, that doesn't answer why your in the VIP Café idiot!" He said.
"Oh, that's cuz I have a VIP pass." I said, confused why else I would be able to be here.
"So your from a rich family?" He asked.
"I guess you could say that." I said.
"Why can't you just debut directly then?" I asked again.
"Because I want to debut with my own hard work. Now, can you stop interrogating me? Also, I think your order is ready." I said matter-of-factly.
He rushed to the order counter and snatched an order that said 'Lex'. 'Wow, I was actually accurate in giving him a fake name!' I thought to myself. Then I realized that I hadn't even taken a bite of my food. I grabbed my Blueberry Muffin and started eating, meanwhile, Leo got settled down at my table. He had ordered a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino and a Slice of Cheesecake.
"Hey Leo." I said
"What do you want?" He said back to me.
"What was the actual reason why you gave me a 30. You said that I was doing a try-hard pitch and that the song I sang was too old fashioned, but I could tell that you were just trying to find excuses." I asked, staring at him, starting on my Red Velvet Cake slice.
"You really want to know? The song you sang wasn't sang with your heart, as I said at SuperStar. Hatred, all I could see was hatred!" He leaned close. "You aren't worthy of singing any of Lexter's songs." He whispered in my ears.
My face darkened. I froze for a minute, then stood up abruptly. "Well, then if I can sing with the so called emotions you want me to show, you have to admit defeat and say I'm worthy of being an idol!" I shouted. I was on the verge of exploding, how dare he say that. I'm literally his daughter, how am I not worthy of singing my dads songs?! I grabbed my Frappuccino and LEVI'S bag and stormed out. I kept running until I got out of the mall, I took a right and ran to the park next door. I found a bench and sat down, sucking on the straw of my Frappuccino.
"D-dad..... I miss you and mom......." I mumbled.
I sat and started thinking about what he said, 'You're not worthy of singing Lexter's songs.'. It reminded me of the dark parts of my past. Then before I knew it, my eyelids felt heavy, and I fell asleep.
I woke to find myself on a pillow, 'I guess it was all just a dream, but why would I have a dream of Leo......' I thought.
"Ahem! Are you done?" An annoyed voice suddenly asked
"Wait, since when do pillows talk?" I said as I paused and looked up.
Then I realized that I was all over Leo, and we were still on the bench.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! What the hell! How did I- this- but- just how!?" I said, blushing in embarrassment.
Things to know in this chapter:
- Leo saw 'Ash' run outside, so he went to catch up with her. But when he sat down on the bench to talk, she nuzzled against him unexpectedly
- Both Lena and Leo already paid for their food and drinks
- Just so you know, she is not blushing because she likes him (at least not yet 😏)
