Chapter 4: A Great Family Plus a Great Car.

"Why don't you get a car? You have your drivers license already." Spade asks me.

"Well first, I don't have enough money to buy one. And second, you, Aunt Carmen, and Uncle Carlos have done too much for me, I don't want to ask for more" I said, trying to reason with him.

"Ya, but we have like, 8 different cars if you exclude my car, you can take one." Spade said

"But-"

"No buts! Take one!" He said interrupting me.

"Okay fine, I'll choose once we get home." I said reluctantly.

Once we got home, I kicked my shoes off, washed my hands, undid my braid, and then flopped onto the couch. "*sigh* it's been a long day..." I mumbled. Then I dosed off.

I awoke to find a little boy on top of me, also fallen asleep. 'Jax must have tried to wake me up to play, but he ended up falling asleep himself.' I thought to myself as I picked him up off of me carefully, and laid him back down. Then I stretched and walked into the kitchen. It was 9:30 PM on the clock. It was past time for dinner!

I saw Aunt Carmen Cooking and asked if I could help.

"Oh! Your awake! I'm almost done cooking, so why don't you go set the table and wake up Jaxon for me?" Aunt Carmen said to me.

I walked back into the living room and looked at the little boy. I smiled and kneeled down so that I was level with him. Then I started ticking him.

"Pfft....Hahahaha... Ahahaha..hahah...hahahaha!" The little boy started laughing hysterically.

I giggled and lifted up the still laughing boy. Carrying him to the kitchen, I asked if he wanted to help set the table. He nodded and ran to get a stool. Meanwhile, I walked over to get the plates that were to high for him to reach even with a stool. I grabbed 5 bowls and put them in front of each chair on the dinning table. I then walked over to the little boy and said

"Little Jax, can you pass me 5 forks?"

"Yep!" He answered happily.

I grabbed the five forks and placed them while Jax started taking out 5 spoons. After setting the utensils on the dining table, I picked up Jax and walked over to where Aunt Carmen was.

"Aunt Carmen. Do you need help serving?" I asked.

"Considering that this is the second time you asked to help, you can serve the pasta. Once you're done, you can leave it on the dining table in case anyone wants seconds. I'll place the other dishes on the table." Aunt Carmen directed.

"Yes ma'am!" I said grinning.

"I'll let Little Jax down now, okay?" I said facing Jax, who I was still carrying.

"Okie! I'll call daddy and Big Bro for food!" Jax suggested.

"Great! That would help." I said as I let him down.

He ran down the hallway towards Spade's room. I walked back, towards the utensils and grabbed a serving spoon. Then I grabbed the pot of past and started to spoon out the pasta to each bowl.

After a few minutes, Spade and Uncle Carlos showed up and they all dug in.

"Can I have seconds?" Spade and Uncle Carlos said in harmony.

I giggled and gave them some more. I gave myself some as well. After we all finished eating, Spade said,

"Yo, Lena, did you forget about the car?" Spade stopped me.

"Ahh. Man, I was hoping you'd forget about that" I whined.

"Well I didn't forget, so come with me." He hurriedly pushed me pushed me to the outdoor garage.

"Ugghhh. Fiiiiinnnneeee." I moaned and walked in reluctantly.

I looked at the three rows of cars with 4 cars in each. Then, a certain car that I hadn't seen Uncle, Aunt or Spade use before caught my attention. The car was a blood red with black and white accents. It looked as good as new, with a shiny coat, and pitch black tiers. I guess Spade saw my sparkling eyes directed to the car and he said;

"Huh, so do you want a car" I turned and he was smirking.

"We've actually never used that before. Mom and dad got it all ready for me but as you know, I don't like red, like, at all. So feel free to take it." He told me.

"Niiiice" I said, happy that I had a good find.

"Let me got the keys, you can attach it to your house keys, Kay'?"

"Yessir!" I said, saluting.

Spade went back inside to get the keys while I took a good look at the car up close, 'wow, it really is spotless...' I thought. I officially had a car now, and not only that, it's one of the most wanted model of 'SKT' Cars.

After Spade gave me the keys, I latched it together to the pair of house keys that Aunt Kei had given me. I yawned and my eyelids started to get heavy again. I sighed and went to brush my teeth, changed into my PJs, then I crawled into bed and fell asleep.

Things to know in this chapter:

- Lena is going to use this car to drive to and from Work/SuperStar/Shopping

- Lena has a good memory (which is one of her talents) so she will be fine driving alone to places without help

- Lena's keys now contain: house keys, car keys, and a car garage gate mini-remote.
