why is he acting different?

the man fall on the ground. I grabbed him by his collar and punched him untill he was unconscious.

suddenly I felt two arms around my torso stopping me from almost killing that man. I looked behind it was a girl, y/n. she was looking down, crying.

I stopped and hold y/n's arms asking her to loose them. she loosened the grip and I turned facing my chest towards her.

she was still looking down and crying.

I gentally lifted her chin with my right index finger to see her face. her eyes were filled with tears and there were tear stains on her cheeks.

my heart dropped. the scene of what could have happened to her if I didn't follow her flashed into my mind and I turned to beat the s*it out of that man but y/n suddenly hugged me and started crying.

my heart melted as her tears wetted my shirt. I hugged her back, patting her head, thinking of what could have happened.

I lifted my head up " let's take you home " I said patting her head.

she nodded

I lift her chin again. her eyes were teary and cheeks wet with new tear drops. I gentally moved my hands to her cheeks to brush off the treas.

y/n's eyes widened in shock.

honestly, I was shocked too. how wasn't I angly at her ? why did I rushed to protect her when I hate her ? but I didn't react. she was already scared and I don't want to scare her more.

" you'll have to leave my body for me to take you home" I said with a cunning smile.

she immediately took back her hands and took a step back.

" here, hold my hand" I don't know why I told her to hold my hands. maybe because she was too scared.

at first she hasitated but she knows it too that at this moment I was the least dangerous person and obviously someone she knows, so she held my hand.

I smiled and grabbed her tiny hands gentally.

"which way?" I asked her and she pointed forward. she was blushing. her cheeks wer red and it was visible. I smiled and walked towards that direction.

I don't know why was I doing this but I liked this. she looks different when she cries, laugh, blushes, smiles, is sad, shocked, surprised ...... I want to see her other expressions too.

"um....y/n for that day .....in really sorry... to...hurt you that much..." I apologize not looking at her.

she didn't reply and kept on walking.

" can I ask you something.... what was the reason for your old internal injury in the stomach ?"

she stopped. I looked behind. she was looking at me with her eyes widened.

"h-how did you know ...that I have an old wound in my stomach ?" she asked with shock.

"I was in the hospital before you woke up. the doctor told us about that. he told us that it has opened "

she placed her hand on her stomach " thank you for today " she said then she shook off my hand and ran forward.

I stood there processing what i said wrong.

"ugh! I helped her yet she talked to me like this !" I was pissed again

I turned back to leave.

but ....what happened to her that caused her that injury ? ....nvm, just leave it.

then I walked away.

...*y/n's Pov*...

why is he acting strange? what is wrong with him ? and why am I liking this ? have I fallen for him? no!!! how can I be the girls like in the novels and manga to fall for my bully ! that's not true! ugh!!!!

" can I ask you something.... what was the reason for your old internal injury in the stomach ?" he asked

I was pissed off by that question. I answered him rudely and left him.

f**k off ! I don't want anyone ! they always hurt me ! I can't trust anyone ! I mustn't !

I ran, crying and soon reached my apartment. I got inside and locked the door. I took off my clothes and went to take a shower. in the shower I cried my heart off.

I can't let them hurt me again! I can't!

I exited the bathroom and changed into comfy clothes.

I made something to eat and went to do my homework . after a few hours I completed my homework. now I've to study. I took out my book but it didn't clarify my doubts so I decided to go to the library.

I got up and changed into comfy yet stylish outfit and left.

I hoped not to see that man again and I didn't. I was relieved.

the library was close to my apartment to I went there by foot and soon I reached.

I went to where the librarian sits.

"excuse me, I want to know where are the books related to abc topic ?"

" let me check..... it's in XX group in the second floor "

" thank you "

I tanked the old lady and walked up the stairs to the 2nd floor. the library was quite large.

XX group...ah! found it!

there was a handsome man there reading a book.

he seems familiar....

I searched for the book and found it. but it was a little over my height. I tip toed to reach the book and I succeeded. I took out the book but the book beside it also came out, falling right towards me. I closed my eyes preparing myself for the hit.

"you should be careful miss y/n" a male voice said.

I looked up and it was the same man reading the book in the side. he was holding the book that had fallen, above me .

I stood straight and thanked him " thank you, but...how do you know my name?"

he placed the fallen book in its original place and looked at me with a smile.

" you forget me that quickly ? seems like I've to visit you quite often ....I'm bekhyun miss y/n" he chuckled.
