Chapter 2: Collision of Rules and Rebellion
[Scene: Saint Xavier’s High – Student Council Room – Afternoon]
(The small council room smells of polished wood and faint chalk dust. A few chairs are arranged in a semi-circle. The walls are decorated with school achievements. Luna sits straight, her notebook open, every pen perfectly aligned. Pulkit lounges in his chair, one leg over the other, arms crossed, looking completely disinterested.)
Teacher
(firm voice):
“Head Boy, Head Girl, please make sure you handle all upcoming school events and discipline policies carefully. I expect full cooperation.”
Luna Sharma
(nodding seriously, writing):
“Yes, ma’am. I already drafted a schedule for discipline rounds and event planning.”
(She slides the notebook toward Pulkit.)
Pulkit Malhotra
(barely glancing at it):
“Hm. Looks… dull.” (He drops the notebook back toward her without effort.)
Luna Sharma
(irritated):
“Pulkit, please at least read it. We’re responsible now.”
Pulkit Malhotra
(grinning, mock yawning):
“Responsible… sounds so boring. Don’t you think you take this way too seriously?”
Luna Sharma
(firm):
“I take responsibility seriously. I don’t intend to let you mess this up.”
(A faint smirk grows on Pulkit’s face. He leans back further, enjoying her discomfort.)
Pulkit Malhotra
(playfully):
“Oh… so you’ll be my personal life coach now?”
Luna Sharma
(dead serious):
“Someone has to be.”
(An awkward silence stretches between them. The other council members exchange uneasy glances.)
📱 Pulkit’s Message (sent to his friend later):
“She’s… strangely intense. I don’t know why, but I can’t stop watching her get all flustered.”
📱 Friend’s Reply:
“Classic Sharma ji syndrome. You’re obsessed before you know it.”
📱 Pulkit (smirking):
“Maybe I like rules… when they come in that form"
[Next Day – School Corridor]
(Luna walks alone, clutching her notebook. Her expression is tight. Suddenly, Pulkit appears beside her, uninvited.)
Pulkit Malhotra
(teasing):
“Hey, rule queen. Did you sleep well after last night’s council torture?”
Luna Sharma
(annoyed, not slowing down):
“I slept perfectly. Unlike you, I don’t procrastinate responsibilities.”
Pulkit Malhotra
(smirking, tone playful but low):
“Maybe I don’t have any.”
(Her steps falter, but she keeps walking, trying not to respond. He matches pace with her, purposely slow.)
Pulkit Malhotra
(softly):
“You know, Luna… You really do look good when you’re angry.”
(Her face flushes deeper red. She tries to ignore him, but something in his voice makes her pulse quicken.)
Luna Sharma
📱 Luna’s Inner Thought (message-style, as if talking to herself):
Why does he keep doing this? Why does his voice make me feel… strange?

Pulkit didn’t just tease to annoy. His words were deliberate. Every glance, every smirk, every lazy movement designed to pull her in deeper. And Luna, despite herself, couldn’t resist trying to push back. But the harder she tried… the more he seemed to pull.
