Chapter 3

University Grounds

The crowd circled tightly, shouts and gasps echoing through the air.

Aradhya stepped forward with Leonardo at her side.

Her eyes widened. Her heart stopped.

There he was.

Alessandro Moretti

Knuckles bleeding, jaw clenched, fists crashing into another man’s face without mercy.

Each strike was raw, brutal—like rage given shape.

Her lips trembled, but no words left her mouth.

Her body froze.

Only her eyes spoke—fear, worry, helplessness.

As if sensing her presence… he stopped.

His dark gaze lifted.Straight into hers.

The noise of the crowd disappeared. It was just his storm, crashing into her silence.

For a moment—everything stilled.

Then, without a word, Alessandro let go of the man, pushed past the crowd, and walked away.

Leaving her shattered.

University Canteen – Later

Aradhya sat quietly with Leonardo. The scene still replayed in her mind. His blood. His eyes. His silence.

Suddenly, a shy boy from her class approached, fidgeting nervously.

Classmate

(stammering) A–Aradhya… I… I like you. W-would you… go out with me?

Aradhya’s eyes widened.Before she could say a word

Leonardo vitale

(laughing) You don’t know? She already belongs to someone. And trust me… you don’t want to compete with him

The boy’s face flushed in embarrassment.

Aradhya’s throat tightened—her heart sinking.

And then—

THUD!

The sharp crash of a chair echoed through the canteen.

Everyone froze.

Alessandro stood there.

Eyes burning.

Jaw locked.

Without a glance at her, without a single word

He walked straight past, out of the canteen

Leaving only silence.

And the weight of his storm behind.




