Chapter17:Towards The Temple

Arc: The Temple.

Ayami as she shows her light blue tattoo on her arm:"I'll count on you , my fellow gardians."

It was a surprise , that eye , that shine . I was impressed of her passion , I knew that she was different in a way that I could not explain it in words.

Greed:"Great , so shall we move on . "

Ayami:"Sure .....No , wait where is it , did I drop it somewhere ?"

"Looking for this?" said Christine , showing the pen .

Ayami:"Yes, I must've dropped it a while ago,thanks."

Christine:"It is not a pen ,right?"

Ayami:"It is a weapon , keep it a secret for me."

Master:"Do you mind If we use a car or a bus it is hard to move on without one?"

Ayami:"Ummm, It is impossible to use my tour truck ....yes , I have exactly what we need..but it is a bit messy and I should finish some work before I can leave."

Tom:"I'm sure it's not that bad."

They weren't expecting to see the caravan miserably grimy when they got outside . The caravan was in a large size , with two front chairs , completely dirty brown and old and it seemed like it takes more than one hour to clean it up.

Tom:"Oy...Oy ....Oy, it is totally dirty and in addition it is old."

Greed:"Are you really a star?....You could've bought something better than this scrap."

Ayami:"I had to accept it , its a gift."

Jason:"You mean a gift taken from the garbage."

Christine:"Do you want me to travel in this.....give me all the cleaning tools that you have and also paints."

Nichole:"And the repair equipment."

Marissa:"We all going to help."

So, Christine , Marissa and Tom were cleaning inside on the other hand, Greed and Jason cleaning outside . Nichole was fixing the damaged part of the caravan.

Greed :"Aren't guys suppose to do this kind of job?"

Jason:" You should shut your mouth , If you don't want to get hit , she is better than us in these things , Is everything alright Nichole?"

Nichole , takes underneath the caravan:" Almost done."

Then she continued with herself :"Repairing these parts was difficult, they are not modern in style, as if they were from another period, perhaps in the middle of the eighteenth century ... I do not know."

Tom, gets out of the caravan:"Finally !"

Jason:"We only need to paint it black."

Christine:"No, black is very bleak, paint it light green"

Jason:"What is that, a tree moving in the street.black is better."

"Green!"

"Black!"

"G..ree..n!"

"Ba...la..ck!"

Marissa , carrying a paint bucket :"When will you two will ever agree on....."

Marissa tripped and the bucket fell on Christine head and she was all covered with green paint.

Jason laughs:"Hahahah, you want a green , the green is covering you now,hahah."

Christine throws a black paint on Jason but he dodges it and the paint smashed Greed's face.

Greed runs after Jason:"You ganna pay for this"

Dr. Marcuse , lying on the swimming chair with the Master:"Shouldn't we stop them ?"

Master while he drinks a chilled juice:"No ,they are working so hard."

Ayami:"WOW..the truck has become so colorful ."

Jason . holds a paint brush to hit Greed :"Since when it becomes like that?!"

Nichole:"You three were throwing all the paint at the caravan."

Ayami:"HAhaha, you all need to have a bathe."

Christine delightedly :"Oh , yes please."

Guy and Daiana arrived in front of the Temple earlier than they guessed.

Guy on the top of a tree talking to Diana:"We got before them."

Diana:"We are forced to wait for them now..we cannot enter because of the field."

Guy:"Why didn't I go with you that day."

Diana:"You're still mad about that . what are you a kid."

Guy:"Wake me up when it's time."

(Guy is a boy with a gray hair and blue eyes, Diana has a long black hair and pink eyes . Those two are special magic users in the kingdom.)

In the caravan heading to the Temple . Dr. Marcuse is driving , Master Valk is in the second seat .

Ayami:"Greed!...I just notice now how beautiful your fighting stick is."

Greed proudly:"I know right , he is my childhood friend."

Tom and Jason are giggling loudly :"His friend."

Greed :"His name is Aco."

Tom and Jason still laughing:"He calls his stick Aco,Hahahahaha."

Ayami:"And what's the problem with that , my weapon is a whip named Lou.To use your weapon you need to give it a name. "

Jason:"Why is that."

Ayami:"Should I explain in details...the weapons that we guards use are actually were past spirts , spirts for those people who had mad a heinous sin in the past . some say that they are the first guards "

Nichole:"They turned to weapons to atone for that sin ."

Ayami:"perfectly right."

Ayami with extreme excitement :"I know lets play telling the truth game ".

Ayami bringing her pen:"Okay, the pen's nib is for the question and the pen's body is the answer."

Ayami sat next to Greed then Tom , Jason and Nichole , forming a circle on the ground around the pen. Christine was sitting away far from them, reading the White Hoop book .

Ayami as she spins the pen :"It is your question to me Tom ."

Tom:"Do you use magic wand?"

Ayami:"At what era are you , only the royal family use it ."

Jason:"Why?"

Ayami, spinning the pen:"Get your own round...It is my question to Christine now...so is your magic from your father or your mother?"

Christine:"I didn't say that I will play."

Ayami:"Are you afraid of losing."

Christine, sits on the ground resolutely:"You wanna play , let's play...It is my mother."

Greed:"The game become exciting ."

Nichole:"No , it is not."

In each and every round in the game , Ayami spins the pen and asks a tiff question to Christine.

Ayami:"Where did you come from."

Christine:"Tokyo."

"Do you have siblings?"

"Yes"

"How many?"

"One"

Marissa:"Master you are...?!"

Master:"I need to know something."

Ayami:"Where is your mother now?"

Christine lowered her head , grabbed her clothes to curb her sadness. The caravan becomes so silent ,Jason ,Nichole and Tom have no words to say.

Jason taks to himself:"Crab!"

"She is no longer in this life."

a soft smile appeared after she raised her head bravely and her eyes were reflecting Ayamie's face .

Christine:"She is in a place , perhaps it is better for her , she is gone , but her memories are still with me , that's what I care about."

Ayami:"What happened?"

Jason:"I think you better stop forcing her to answer these questions."

Christine:"I'll tell her ..No I'll tell you all,It may seem like what I will say contradict what I just said, as my memory of the incident is still muddled . I only remember is that me and my parents were heading back home . It was dark and rainy day , my parents were arguing . After a while I found myself upside down in the car ...I was running with my father without my mother. My father did not tell me what happened,why were we running and from what we were running . "

As soon as she finished speaking , Ayami jumped and hugged her with tears.

Ayami:"I'm sorry ...I'm sorry."

Christine holds Ayami:"It was hard to talk about it but , you hepled me to explain it for those fools."

Nichole goes to join the two girls:"I don't mind you calling us that If we are still friends."

Christine says to herself , with a cold eyes :"Friendes we!?...should I put some faith in these words?"

Ayami:"Yeah , Nichole from now on and forever."

Christine :"So, will you answer my questions now?...What was written in the litter?"

Ayami ,Hesitating:"You see ...I...Master Valko please help me explain this ."

Master:"Explain what? "

Ayami:"You're the one who told me to play this game ."

"WHAT!" All screamed.

Greed:"You were flipping the pen all this time ?"
