Chapter 18: At The Temple

Arc: The Temple .

It has been a while since our comrades left the theater and finally they arrived in fort of the Temple . The huge, wouderful building , with an old looking style and the pretty inscriptions .

Tom :"So pretty!"

Marissa :"It is surrounded by a strong insulator ."

"We have to take our precautions against the enemies ...after all, the Temple holds important secrets." An old man came out of the Temple .

Master Valko:"OH, It's my fried Miles "

Mr. Miles:" Valko!"

Master:"Miles!"

The two old man ran to each other after a long absence .

Master:"I missed you my friend."

Marissa :"Master wait, the field!"

The Master bumped into the field, then lost consciousness at the same time, Mr.Miles stopped suddenly because of a pain in his back. then they entered inside the Temple and Mr. Miles sat in his wheelchair.

"Grandpa, you should've called me , I'm sorry my grandpa is a bit tired ,so I'm taking care of the Temple. " Said a boy named Max.

Mr.Miles:"So Valko , what is this sudden visit?"

Master:"Couldn't you find out yourself?"

Mr.Miles looked at Jason for a moment and ordered him to approach , he pulled Jason from his clothes and stared directly into his eyes and said:"You have your father's appearance and your mothr's eyes...follow me"

After a short distance , they stood in front of a long engraving golden door leading to a large circular hall with shelves along the hall. On these shelves were wax statues that shaped as the past legendary guards held inside a protection glass starting from the top to the bottom of the hall. The last shelve was the statues of the latest guards , mothers and fathers of the new guards . In front of the lower statues , a big black box was found and next to it was a desk with an old record book on it.

Dr.Marcuse :"Very well done work ."

Mr.Miles:"You can take a look around , but please without touching ."

Tom runs to one of the statues:"Hi look, this man is shorter than the others."

Greed:"He is my father."

Tom:"Your..sorry."

Greed:"If he was here ,he would've tear you a part."

Jason :"Who is exactly your father?"

Greed:"He has become the Earth Clan chief recently ,I do not see him that much."

Tom:"We can visit him someday."

Greed:"You two yes , but me I don't think so, I ran from there and I'll never return ....Wite, why am I saying this to fools like you ."

Jason :" You're the one who started the drama talk ."

Greed:"You wanna fight?"

Jason:"If this will teach you how to respect your leader, I've no objections."

Master Valko , hitting them on their heads :"Stop this nonsense you three."

Nichole , standing in front of a statue:"Is this your mother Ayami?...she looks just like you ."

Ayami:"Yeas, I inherited my magic from her."

Nichole calls:"Christine !...doesn't she .."

Nichole turns and sees Christine looking at a statue and the tears came out of her. As soon Christine realized that Nichole was watching her, she wiped her tears from her cheeks and completed like nothing had happened. Christine opens the black book , then Mr.Miles closed it quickly .

Mr Miles:"No touching, please though you can open the box."

Jason screams out loud and his eyes were piercing :"It is my father , (then reduces his voice) my real father."

Jason asks:"Where is the plate name?"

Mr. Miles , ignoring his question with a smile in his face:"You can open the box ."

Jason holds his head , moves around and bites his lips:"Faine, I don't wana know now....tell me at least , did you know him?"

Master Valko:"We both did,For me ,I met him with a friend of mine , your father used to practice with him , he was very determined and stubborn , always talking to himself , we used to consider him as a schizophrenic person , be proud of him Jason. ...I almost forget why are we here, come on open the box you two."

Jason opens the box and took out two white gloves that looks like a dragon arm with withe scales and claws :"This is my weapon?!"

Greed:"You don't want it ?"

Jason:"No, It's just I thought of something different ."

Master Valko:"Once you meet your weapon you must make a contract with him , you may borrow the weapon's power instead of giving it a proper name."

Jason:"Oh, you weren't joking about the name ....wait ,when I meet my weapon?!"

Mater Valko:"Just try It on."

Greed:"Hey Lizard , you might feel some heat so, hang in there."

Jason :"Yeah, sure ."

Ayami as she looks towards Jason to peeve him :"Christine , yours looks modern ."

Jason with his inner voice:"That's a Tanto knife, well, don't judge a book from its cover."

*Note: Tanto is a special ninja knife some of them has a scabbard which is made of wood.

Jason wears the gloves and his soul has transferred into the weapon. He finds himself in a wide white place with white smoke around . Behind the smoke was a massive white dragon with blue eyes .

The dragon as he was swimming in the air, coming for words to Jason:"We meet at last, the son of the previous dragon protector , the leader of the legendary guards ...Why should I lend you my power. what is your goal of using it?"

Jason remains silent , staring to him , then he lowred his head.

The dragon:"What's wrong, aren't you convinced yet...that you are the dragon protecter?!"

Jason:" Maybe , things are going to fast for me , how did you notice that I'm not convinced ?"

The dragon :"It's normal , my blood is running in your veins, I can feel what you feel and I know what are you thinking about. "

Jason:"I see, you said the same thing when we first met."

The dragon:"You have a dragon spirit as your father, and a dragon vision as your mother."

Jason:"I'm not sure of my goal yet,so could I postpone the contract ?"

... ****************************************...

Christine's soul went to the weapon as well and she felt a very strong heavy heat .

I cannot be certain anymore and say that what I experienced was a dream , even It is difficult to say that It was realistic , it was more than that . In that place I found nothing but blackness , I walked with slow steps so that no one could hear me , and there I looked to the dark black sky , I was in a field with the features of combustion and igneous rocks of various sizes with lava lines and with orange sparks flying in the air . Suddenly, a phoenix flew in front of me and lit a line of fire .. I fell and then I crawled back away. The fire went out and the smoke covered the place, made me see anything anymore after that .

Christine:"What is this, my heart beats fast and my body is heating up?"

"Do you deserve to use my own power."

Christine:"Whose there?"

"What is your aim of using the power of my weapon?"

"My aim?."

Back then ,the time stoped and I remembered when Lura protected me , when my friends protected me then I made up my mind .

Christine:"I want you to make me strong , strong enough to protect the ones who I care about from the enemies, but without murdering innocent people , will you join me.....Arsh?"

The weapon:"As you wish ."

Christine opens her eyes , seeing herself lying on the ground.

Nichole worried:"Thanks God you are okay."

Christine turns to Jason, who was also lying down .

Christine:"What's with that explosion?!"

Nichole:"The Temple is being attacked and Master Valko with Ayami and Greed went outside to stop it . And Marissa is evacuating the visitors ."

At the same time outside the temple, Greed and Ayami were regaining their energy after a fight that is still continuing.

Greed:"They are Redeyes , but not any Redeye, they are from the royal dynasty. "
