Mission 1: The Girl at the Station ( part 2 )
Kael Ardent
( thinking ) I need to know what happened to her brother. This place won't let her leave unless the truth comes out.
( He follows the faint whispers echoing through the station. The air thickens, and Kael finds an old, broken notice board with faded newspaper clippings stuck to it. )
Kael Ardent
( reading ) "Train accident. Several passengers dead. Unidentified young man among them. "
Kael Ardent
( grim ) So that's it. Her brother never abondoned her - he never made it here.
The diary in his hands glows faintly, reacting to the truth.
System :[ Truth Fragment Obtained. Reveal it to the soul. ]
Kael Ardent
( walking back to the girl ) Lil. I found out what happened.
Soul ...
( desperate ) He's coming, isn't he ?I knew it ! He always keeps his promises.
Kael Ardent
( hesitates, then softly ) He tried. He never stopped trying. But, there was an accident. He didn't make it.
( The girl freezes. The station grows darker, the sound of phantom trains screeching louder. )
Soul ...
( voice breaking ) No. You're lying ! He promised me, he PROMISED !!
System :[ Warning. Regret intensifying. Soul resisting truth. ]
Kael Ardent
( steps closer ) Look - ( he holds out the glowing diary ) This is his promise. He meant it. He wanted to take you away. But sometimes, fate doesn't let us keep every word.
( The diary pages flip on their own, stoping at the last unfinished sentence: "Even if I can't come. I'll always be with you." )
Soul ...
( staring, trembling ) Brother. you. you didn't leave me ?
Kael Ardent
( gently ) No.He never left you. And he's waiting for you to move on - so you can meet him again, wherever he is now.
( The girl slowly drops her resistance. The phantom train horn sounds once more - this time, a glowing silver train appears at the station. )
Soul ...
( tears falling, but smiling faintly ) Thank you. Will you tell him, that I waited ?

( softly ) He already knows.
( She steps onto the train. The platform brightens, the darkness lifts. As the train departs, her form faded, leaving behind a small silver pendant in Kael's hand. )
[ Mission Complete: Soul Released ]
[ Reward: Memory Fragment -
" Promises" ]
[ New Path Unlocked: Next Dimension ]

( looking at the pendant ) One promise kept, in a way. But how many more regrets are waiting out there ?
( The world dissolves, pulling him into the next mission. )
