A promise
Being married at Taehyung for 4 years, Jungkook knows that his husband was hiding something from him, he can tell when Taehyung is lying to him or not.
Taehyung works at a recording studio he co-owned it with Namjoon and Hoseok... But then there's another work Taehyung can't tell him what it is exactly. Sometimes Taehyung will leave for that secret work of him and just come back after three days with bruises and blood on his clothes.
He was curious, he wanted to ask about it, but Taehyung made it clear to him that it's not something he can tell about anyone, especially to him for his safety, and he respects Taehyung, he trusts his husband. Sometimes he can hear him talking with this Jin and Jungkook guy over the phone and some underground and black market transaction. He just hopes Taehyung won't get hurt with this work of him...
But Jungkook's greatest fear come to life one night when he woke up by a commotion downstairs. He panics when he saw Taehyung was not in the bed beside him. He gets his robe and about to go out when suddenly Taehyung enter their room...

After that night Taehyung never come back. Jungkook cried every day and night, if his best friend Taehyung was not with him during the three months that Taehyung not coming back he thinks he's going to get insane from so many questions in his head.

All the questions keep hunting him.
It's weekdays, but Jungkook didn't go to work because of the bad weather and because the Busan is near the mountain and rivers the area where he lives floods.
It's 𝑶𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝟑𝟎, 1 day before the Halloween, and even though it's raining and he's not in the mood, Jungkook still prepared some candies because he can't stop himself from giving kids their little trick or treat.
Sometimes, children's keeps knocking on his door and Jungkook give them candies. Before Taehyung, and him will wear a costume and join the trick or treat, but now there's no Taehyung to do it with him. He wipes his tears and stand up when he heard a knock on his door again. It's already past midnight and he's already sleepy, this is the last one he will entertain tonight before calling the night off.
He opens the door, and frowns because there's no one outside. He sighs, maybe someone is pranking him, the flood is getting higher, and it's still raining. He's about to close the door when he saw something twinkling near the patio. Curiosity gets the best of him, and he walks towards the thing and he stumbles back when he saw what it is.
He shouted as he fell down on the wet floor. He saw a hand bone of a person!
He tries to calm down and walks towards it again and for god’s sake! It's not only a hand, but a whole fuvking skeleton of a person, one hand is raised upward.

He was furious, and about to ignore it when he eyes caught something. The skeleton has a ring on his finger. He squat and uses his phone flashlight to see it clearly and he almost drops his phone after seeing the ring closely...

With his shaking hands he labels his hand with his wedding ring and burst out in tears because it's the same ring that the skeleton was wearing.
He can't believe this is happening... The next day he called a police, and they make a test out of the bone and Jungkook cried again when the police confirmed the identity DNA results is 99% of Kim Taehyung.
