Wait... was he dressed in black? Headphones hanging around his neck? Eyes cold and sharp?

Y/N (confused & scared):

Y-Yes... but how do you know that?

Police Officer 1 (tense expression):

Because… he's standing right behind you.

(Y/N slowly turns around, eyes wide. She sees her bag lying near the man. Tears well up in her eyes, but she forces a faint smile and walks toward it.)

Y/N (whispers emotionally):

Thank you... for keeping it safe.

(She hugs her bag tightly and silently walks away, tears falling from her eyes. Suga watches her without a word — cold, unreadable expression.)

[Scene change – Y/N reaches an apartment]

(Doorbell rings — Ding dong.)

A woman in her 30s opens the door.

Y/N (nervous and tired):

Excuse me... is Park Yuri home?

Woman (confused):

Park Yuri? I think you’ve got the wrong address. I've been living here for years.

Y/N (shocked):

W-What? That can't be… this is the address she gave me!

Woman:

Sorry, miss. No one by that name lives here. (Closes the door politely.)

Y/N (standing frozen, then whispers to herself):

What’s going on…? Why would Unnie give me a fake address? Where are you, Unnie?

Unnie? Yeah... she's fine, just a little busy right now.

I’ll call you again tomorrow. Just... wanted to hear your voice.

Good night, halmoni. I love you.

“Sorry, ma’am. There’s no employee by that name working here.”

Y/N (confused and shocked):

“What? That can’t be right! Please check again! My sister, Park Yuri, she told me herself—she works here!”

(She begins to cry.)

Y/N (emotional, rambling):

“She used to call us… she said she passed the interview, that she finally got a job at a big company… She sent us photos, told us how luxurious her new life was. And now you’re saying… she never worked here?!”

(A staff member appears, along with Sihu.)

Staff:

“Sir, this girl is making a scene. It’s disturbing the other employees.”

Sihu (coldly):

“Get her out of here. You know what will happen if Kim Taehyung finds out about this mess!”

(Guards escort Y/N out of the building forcefully.)

(Y/N enters the station again, this time more emotional than frustrated. Her voice is heavy with sadness.)

Phone rings...

Y/N (answering softly):

“Yes, Halmoni, I’m okay. I’m just on my way to work with Unnie… Please call me later.”

(She ends the call and takes a deep breath.)

(She walks in and sees Police 1 and Police 2 eating lunch. Her stomach growls loudly. She looks at them with tearful eyes.)

Police 1 (joking):

“Don’t tell me your bag’s lost again.”

Police 2 (teasing):

“Maybe this time… it’s her cat that’s missing.”

(Y/N’s face falls as she tries to stop herself from crying.)

Police 2 (softening):

“Hey, miss…”

Y/N:

“It’s Y/N.”

Police 1 (sighs):

“Okay, Y/N. Stop crying and just tell us what happened.”

Y/N (hesitant):

“…Can I have a little of what you’re eating?”

(Police 2 gives her food. She eats desperately, like she hasn’t eaten in days.)

Police 1 (concerned):

“Easy, it’s not a competition.”

Police 2 (mock-grumbling):

“Hey, leave some for us too…”

(Y/N finishes and breaks into tears.)

(Just then, Kim Taehyung walks in for official work. Police 1 and 2 leave Y/N and go to him. Taehyung notices Y/N, stares at her quietly with no expression. Y/N doesn’t notice him and walks out of the station.)

After frantically tearing through her things, she heads to Kitty’s little house. Lifting it up, she finally finds what she’s looking for.

Without wasting another second, she packs her bag again and leaves for Seoul.

Y/N arrives in Seoul and buys some lemon candy from a small street stall.

Her phone rings. It’s Halmoni.

Halmoni (worried voice):

“Y/N… were you just at the house? Is everything alright?”

Y/N (calm but guarded):

“Halmoni, I had to come back for some job documents. Nothing serious. Don’t worry.”

Halmoni:

“You didn’t even stop to see me? And Yuri isn’t answering her phone—it’s been off for days. I’m getting worried. And you… you sound like you’re hiding something.”

Y/N (pauses, then fakes a cheerful voice):

“You’re just overthinking again. Honestly, Yuri and I are both fine. Her phone’s just broken, and she’s been swamped with work. She barely has time to fix it.”

She forces a laugh.

Y/N (softer):

“And I don’t talk much because… I get emotional when I hear your voice. You know I’ve never stayed away from you this long.”

Y/N (quickly):

“Anyway, I have to sleep now. Big day at work tomorrow. Don’t want to get fired by my grumpy boss. Bye, Halmoni.”

She ends the call, her smile fading as she munches on her lemon candy, deep in thought.

“This cat… again?”

In the photo: Yuri, Kim Taehyung, Sihu, and Suga—standing together.

Y/N (murmurs):

“Which one is Yuri Unnie’s boyfriend? How do I even figure that out?”

She clears space on the floor, lays out all the items, and starts writing down dates—when the letters were sent, when Yuri called, when the phone went dead.

She draws lines, builds a timeline, and slowly connects the dots.

Y/N (determined):

“If Yuri never worked at that company… then how did this photo even exist?

They’re hiding something.

And I swear—I will find out what it is.”
