[Scene: Meher Sharma – Texting in her diary app, early morning, her room.]
Meher (typing...):
Dear Diary,
Another day, another scar no one will see.
Mom shouted at me again this morning because I left one spoon in the sink.
Dad didn't even glance at me at breakfast. As if I don't exist.
Sometimes I wonder... am I invisible? Or just unwanted?
But books don’t hurt me. Books don’t scream. Books let me breathe.
I’ll finish my shift at the bookstore today and hide in my paper world, like always.
At least there… no one calls me a burden.
[Scene: Aarav Rathore – at his mansion terrace, morning.]
Aarav (thinking):
Another deal closed. Another lie sold.
And still… the silence in this house feels louder than any gunfire.
Aarav (to himself):
I’ve been called ruthless, cold-hearted, emotionless.
Maybe they’re right. When you’re raised in power and trained for blood, what else can you become?
[Message pops from his younger brother, Vihaan]
Vihaan:
“Bhai, are you coming to tonight’s party? Big people, big names. We need you there.”
Aarav:
“I’ve seen enough masks, Vihaan. Let them play their games.”
Vihaan:
“Then do something normal today. Breathe. Step outside Rathore Mansion for once.”
Aarav (after a pause):
“Where?”
Vihaan:
“That old bookstore near Model Street. You liked it when we were younger. It’s still quiet… real.”
Aarav:
“Real? Sounds rare.”
[Scene: Bookstore – late morning, Meher working quietly, arranging the shelves.]
Bookstore Manager:
“Meher, can you handle the front while I go and get the lunch?”
Meher:
“Yes sir, I’m okay.”
Customer (entering):
“Excuse me, is this the latest Khaled Hosseini novel?”
Meher:
“Yes, sir. Third shelf to your left. Would you like me to help you find it?”
Customer:
“You’ve got a gentle voice. Don’t lose it.”
Meher (small smile):
“Thank you… I won’t.”
[Meher texts in her diary app, sitting behind the counter.]
Sometimes even a kind word from a stranger feels like love.
But love? I stopped expecting that long ago.
[Scene: Aarav enters the bookstore slowly, eyes scanning the quiet room.]
Aarav (thinking):
No bodyguards. No files. No suits shouting numbers.
Just… peace. Silence. Smell of paper.
And then… he saw her.
A girl behind the counter. Lost in a book. A soft light around her. Like the kind he saw in his dreams, but never in real life.
Aarav (to himself):
She looks like she belongs to another world. Too gentle for a place like this.
What’s her name?
Meher looks up as the doorbell rings. Their eyes meet.
Meher (thinking):
Who is he?
A suit. Sharp eyes. Intense face. But there’s… something broken in his gaze. Something familiar.
Aarav walks toward her. Calm. Focused. Controlled.
Aarav:
“Do you have poetry books in Urdu?”
Meher (nervous, but composed):
“Yes… right this way, sir.”
[She walks toward the poetry section. He follows.]
Aarav (noticing her silence):
“You don’t talk much, do you?”
Meher (quietly):
“I only speak when someone wants to listen.”
Aarav (pause, then softly):
“Then maybe I should start listening more often.”
[They reach the shelf. Aarav picks up a book – Faiz Ahmed Faiz’s Meri Mohabbat]
Aarav:
“‘Meri Mohabbat’… interesting title. I’ve read this before.”
Meher (gently):
“It’s my favorite.”
Aarav:
“Mine too… from today.”
[Meher smiles. It’s small, almost invisible. But Aarav notices.]
[Scene: Later that afternoon, Aarav sitting in his car, parked outside the bookstore.]
Aarav (thinking):
She didn’t know who I am. Not the CEO. Not the mafia king. Just… a stranger with too much in his eyes.
And for the first time… someone looked at me like I wasn’t a monster.
[Scene: Meher in the store, back to reading, texting in her diary app again.]
He came in like a shadow... calm but heavy.
He didn’t smile, didn’t speak much. But when he looked at me, it didn’t feel like pity.
It felt like someone finally saw the storm inside me... and didn’t look away.
[Scene: Aarav receives a message from Vihaan again.]
Vihaan:
“So? Did you find peace?”
Aarav:
“No. But I found something… strange.”
Vihaan:
“What?”
Aarav:
“A girl with a soft voice… and louder silence than mine.”
[Meher closes the store in the evening. Rain begins to fall outside.]
She stands under the bookstore awning, no umbrella, watching the sky cry quietly.
Suddenly, a black car stops in front of her. Window rolls down. Aarav is inside.
Aarav:
“It’s raining. Want a ride?”
Meher (surprised):
“You… remembered me?”
Aarav:
“I forget people who talk too much. You… spoke without speaking.”
Meher (hesitating):
“What if you’re dangerous?”
Aarav (smirking faintly):
“I am. But never to those who smile like you just did.”
[She gets into the car. Neither speaks for a while. The silence is warm.]
Meher (thinking):
I don’t even know his name. But somehow, I feel… safe.
And that’s the most dangerous feeling of all.
[Aarav drops her two streets away from her house. She steps out into the rain.]
Aarav (watching her walk away, whispering):
“Meri mohabbat… maybe she’s what I’ve been looking for all along.”
💔 To be continued… 💔
Some stories don’t begin with grand confessions. They begin in silence—and stay in the heart forever.

It's amazing dear. Keep going. It will be more amazing if you write it as a chat story. Just telling but it's really amazing. The way you wrote is so good. It's your choice in the end to write as a novel or as a chat story.
