Jungkook's POV:
I stood there looking at my neck in the mirror. The red teeth marks were visible along with a bit of blood dripping from the bite. The yellowish-purple bruise was already starting to form in the injured area. I slowly tilted my neck towards my bodyguard Jackson, who used cotton to clean it while moaning.
"Mr. Jeon, do you really want someone like that as a bodyguard?" Jackson disinfected the wound by rubbing it until I felt cold.
"Why?" I asked. Jackson looked at the bite and sighed.
"He hurt you. You'll see tomorrow, I'll chase him and avenge you."
"If you want to d!e, do it." I was telling the truth.
"Sir, I feel really humiliated by someone I don't know who he is. He rejected you twice, and this time he jumped up and bit your neck. How can we tame a Tiger?" My bodyguard muttered until I looked at him to make him stop talking that annoying bûllshit. He seemed to be aware of my annoyance, he immediately stopped talking and focused on my wound.
In fact, I didn't want him to be my bodyguard either.
Jackson said he had met many people like him, they were people who only looked for the best advantages and it was easy for them to change direction and betray you. Those kind of people just take what they want and after they get it, they disappear. You can't talk about loyalty towards them, because it's absolutely not possible.
So what should I do?
When I checked the CCTV footage at the club because of the b@st@rds who had captured me and tørtûred me for three days and nights, I found something more interesting than that. Someone who had saved me two days in a row and not for volunteering, but for the money.
"Hurry up and find him first. The enemy will probably be after him too. If they convince him to go over to the other side, we'll be in trouble." I said the words with such certainty that Jackson couldn't contain his disappointment and humiliation.
I want to meet him quickly and negotiate with him. But first I want to take revenge for the bite he gave me on my neck. No one has ever dared to do this to me!
At the university

"Which subordinate sadistically stuck a band-aid on your neck like this? Hahaha..." One of my friends sneered after seeing me walk and sit at a table under my faculty building.
"Go now!" I told Jackson who was following me around campus. I usually went to campus alone, but with yesterday's incident things had gotten more dangerous so I had used bodyguards as an escort.
"Yes sir, when you get home from college I'll be waiting for you at the same place." Jackson said.
"Hey, don't forget to go to the address I gave you. It's called Baek!" After repeating it once more, Jackson nodded and left us immediately.
"What's going on?" Mingyu one of my best friends asked me.

"I asked him to look for someone."
"Second family again? You've been missing for three days. You've definitely been kidnapped again, right?" Mingyu grabbed my face and moved from right to left to check.
"Right! But the person I'm looking for isn't from the second family. I'm looking for the boy who did this to my neck..." I said in a frustrated voice, peeling off part of the band-aid and letting my three friends see the scars.

"D@mn!" Mingyu, Wonwoo and Bambam all shouted at the same time. It still hurt that morning, and every time I felt that pain, my hatred for that him grew and multiplied. What if the disease he had caused was infected with rabies? I didn't want him to be my bodyguard, I just wanted to defeat him and subdue him.
I told them the whole story, they were my closest friends since we were in middle school, so they knew everything about me. I had never been close to the people in my neighborhood and I had no intention of making new friends because I really couldn't get along with others. Mingyu had said that when I looked at people it was like I was cûrsing them all to death. And not many people dared to come close to me because they knew who is my Dad.
"You know a lot of people in the Faculty of Science.
Finding someone named Baek shouldn't be hard." I said and Bambam turned to talk to Wonwoo. Luckily, today he was wearing a uniform with the University logo embroidered in the bottom corner.
"What? Wait, Bambam, I don't know any." Wonwoo looked silently at Mingyu, who smiled coldly at him.
"Eh, you asked me to tell Bambam yourself." Mingyu looked at Wonwoo.
Mingyu and Wonwoo were engaged and had always been a hot topic on campus. Mingyu was a seducer, a handsome playboy, and a @sshøle who often tested my patience. But because of the high level of tolerance I had achieved, no matter how annoying he was, I always forgave him.
"Not at all." Wonwoo replied anxiously and quickly changed the subject. "After I study, I'll take you there." I just nodded.
"Let's study together. I already have an assignment sheet for you." Bambam gave us the assignment sheet. He was the most important one in the group and a nerd, so he always put everyone else behind him. When I failed at something he was always quick to point it out without hesitation.
After finishing the lessons, Wonwoo took us to the Faculty of Motor Sciences. It was the first time I visited that Faculty, I felt strange and did not know where to begin.
"Wonwoo, what are you doing here?" A voice surprised me. It was always like that. As I thought, Wonwoo was recognized in all the faculties and sports science was no exception.
"Oh, Minseok. Come here." Wonwoo grinned wildly at a thin man with a frown and a smile on his face.

"Who said he didn't know anyone?" Mingyu said with a dark aura. His hands tightened on the hem of his lover's shirt. His face darkened with anger as he watched who was approaching us. The boy seemed more than handsome.
"Mingyu, don't look at him like that. I know Wonwoo's brother because he works at Jeon's house." His explanation made Mingyu smile a little.
"Got it, right?"
"You didn't tell me before." Mingyu gritted his teeth.
"Well, what is your famous gang doing here?"
"Um... Minseok, do you know a guy named Baek?" Wonwoo asked. Without thinking twice, Minseok answered immediately.
"Is he a sophomore?"
"I don't know. Sophomore, right?" Wonwoo turned to me.
"I don't know..." I said softly.
"Actually, as far as I can remember there is only one person named Baek it's mean Baekhyun..."
Baek? Or Baekhyun? Whatever his name is. I need to find him.
"Take me to him..." Minseok raised an eyebrow. "I have business with him." Wonwoo said.
"Business with him? About what?"
"Um... well, whatever it is..." Minseok mumbled something before turning around and noticing someone who fit the bill. "Hey, Jondae!"
"Hey..."
"Have you seen Baekhyun?"
"I'm not sure. I just got off the elevator, but I didn't see him."
"Class is over now and I'm not here anymore." Minseok turned to speak.
"Maybe they're in the cafeteria. I want to go there too..." Jongdae said.
"Then if you find him, please tell him I want to meet him." Wonwoo said to Min.
"If he asks who came looking for him, what should I answer?" Jongdae asked as he approached us.
"Just say it's his dad's brother who wants to see it!"
Wonwoo replied with a smile.
Minseok and the guy were a little shocked but nodded without making a fuss. While waiting, I called my men who had gone to his house, they said that the neighbors didn't know anyone named Baek and that the house in question was unoccupied because its occupants had moved out. I was a little confused.
Why had he suddenly moved? What were people like him afraid of?
My phone vibrated, displaying my father's number on the screen. I had to hurry to accept the call immediately.
"Yes, all right... I'll hurry." He told me to hurry home. They had important guests that afternoon and he wanted me to meet them.
Giving up on finding him that day, I left the science faculty and waited for my bodyguards to come and get me.
Wait for me tiger because after my business is done, I will come back to hunt you down.
"Thank you, Mr. Choi." After dinner, I continued to guide this important guest through the house. Both the staff and I were called to an emergency meeting in the main hall in the center of the house, which made it very crowded.
"You are all useless!!" Dad shouted loudly. His voice echoed until all his followers were shocked.
"These b@st@rd have attacked twice this month. My son was kidnapped and followed. What do you think if my son gets seriously hurt?" His figure was emanating a dark aura as he continued to scream in the hall and his hand lit a cigarette with a match. I looked at my father who was very angry at that moment so that no one would argue.
"..." Silence enveloped the room. I sat down with a glass of water in my hand and took a sip, enveloped in that strange atmosphere that was often present in my house.
"How the hell are you going to take care of my son if you let this happen over and over again?"
I understood why my father was so angry. This month his opponent had been continuously waving the flag of war. When I was kidnapped, I was not the only one who felt it, because my older brother Soekjin and younger brother Sunghoon had experienced the same thing. But if it was about the frequency of attacks I received like this time, I was probably the most used to it. I had been kidnapped at least ten times in my entire life and that is why my father was so angry.
"JACKSON, JIMIN!!! As my son's primary bodyguards, what do you plan to do next?" The two looked at each other. No one dared to answer anything. Their faces were red from the marks of my father's slaps, in fact I expected them to be very hard slaps.
"Sorry, sir. I'll do better." Jimin, my chief of guards, replied.
"I'm tired of hearing it! Look at the bruises on my son. It has nothing to do with the pain you feel." We knew that our opponents were only testing father's patience.
We had many opponents but we knew that no one would dare do such a thing if they were not close to us. Dad knew exactly who the mastermind was, but he couldn't do anything because there was no clear evidence that it was his brothers. Dad's brothers and relatives, we called them the second clan, while we were the main family. My father's two brothers, who were vice presidents of our clan, had started power struggles and created family rifts that would affect multiple generations.
"We apologize, sir. We are trying to gather evidence on this, but the second clan always uses other people to attack. So we..."
"You're dumber than I thought!" Dad made Jackson swallow all the sentences he was about to say, he remained silent and continued to listen to Dad's anger. We were not doing anything because we wanted to gather accurate evidence to get rid of his brother. I wanted to get rid of him because even though he was the real brother of my father and uncle, he was not loyal to the clan. He was alone and despite all the bait we had left, they had been clever in carrying out all their plans so precisely that me and the others were continuing to turn endlessly.
"If my son experiences anything like this again, I will k!ll all of you..." my father shouted loudly before turning to look at me.
"Jungkook, what should your father do after this?"
I shook my head in response. At that moment, my father wanted a new affiliate with good skills. "Hurry up, dad is about to open a new casino. The second clan will definitely not remain idle."
"Mr. Jungkook, can I help you? We don't want anything bad to happen again. And as for the person you want to recruit, he's very skilled and has good martial arts skills, so I'm afraid someone else will try to make a deal with him soon."
Seojoon, my father's secretary offered his assistance with great concern. The guards seemed to have told my father that someone was helping me defend myself and that he had great fighting skills, so he wanted to find him and make him an offer as soon as possible to become my bodyguard. In that way, I felt like I was trading soccer players.
"I'll take care of it myself." I said in a low voice accompanied by a nod from Seojoon and then he turned to look at Dad.
"Hello, are you going to have fun?" Someone said in a cheerful voice, easing the stress in the room. My older brother, three years apart.
"Mind your own business!" I replied to my old brother.
With his disrespectful behavior, I had not called him 'Hyung' . After three days and three nights of being kidnapped and tortured, I had not seen him.
"Can you speak politely?" I turned to hear my father scolding us.
"You're so many bruises." Seokjin took her face and turned it left and right looking at the bruises on it.
"Come on, don't take care of me." I said in frustration and pushed his hand away. So he came over with a cute smile and sat on the couch, turning on the TV in the middle of the room with a blank expression, not caring about the people around him. Until Dad shook his head, but he didn't yell at us, because he knew we were living a sad life. I had been kidnapped, beaten, and assaulted many times more violently than my other siblings in the past ten years and our father knew exactly what it was like.
"Bring that boy to me as soon as possible." I nodded at his command.
"What should he do?" said daddy's favorite son, opening the package of chocolate in the glass jars next to him.
"He's looking for a new bodyguard." My dad replied which then made Jackson look at me.
"Me too, Dad!" My brother said in an agitated, awkward tone.
"Whatever. But you already have Jimin." Dad replied as he looked at Jimin who lowered his head.
"That's stûpid. I like smart people." I saw Jimin roll his eyes and grimace. My brother hadn't been kidnapped like he used to be since Jimin was here.
"If anything bad happens to you, Daddy will find you something new." Dad was spoiling him again. Who said the youngest children were always the most spoiled? Me, the middle child, and my younger brother were not like that. There was no one more spoiled and pampered than the oldest child in my family.
"What about my bodyguard?" Another voice came from. I closed my eyes as I leaned back on the couch, staring at my little brother who had just come in, he had a mischievous expression.
"Who are you?"
"What... it seems like you're going crazy every day!" He said while holding his temple.
"Are you crazy... did your memory come back?"
"Since I remembered my way home, I guess you're right."
My brother rarely came home, so his return was like a miracle. Sunghoon showed her face at home every now and then if she was dragged by force. Even after months of not coming home, people just thought she was out as usual. It was not strange that no one noticed her disappearance.
"What's going on? Are all my kids home? It looks like there's going to be a big storm today."
"I'm just an abandoned dog, so I ran away from home.
The irony of my life..." Sunghoon sat down next to my father. Everything he was saying was very strange, he spoke as if he was truly lost like an unwanted child.
"Then why did you come back? If you're not here, it will be great. Dad will leave his inheritance only to me and Jungkook," said Seokjin, my older brother.
"Da... Da... how can Jeon Seokjin eldest son speak like this?" Sunghoon quickly pointed to Seokjin.
"Just what I thought. It really makes me nervous." Dad said quickly. I was fed up with my brothers' behavior, so I pressed the remote to keep changing the channel. At least it was more fun than listening to them argue with each other.
"Well, since you're all here today... Tomorrow, you three will check the company file for me."
"Damn, ask your subordinates." I grumbled.
"You three are the future owners of a company. Don't you want to help me with my work? Especially you, Sunghoon! Learn to sleep at your house." After speaking, Dad went out leaving me with those b@st@rds. Sunghoon started talking, starting the ball rolling for a fight.
"Fuck, I shouldn't have come back."
"Right! It's thanks to you."
"You're the biggest. Learn to do something useful. Don't leave the burden to your younger brothers."
"Be careful how you speak. At least I helped Dad more than you did."
Who could believe they were my brothers when they acted like children?
In fact, people always mistakenly thought that I was the eldest son in the family because I seemed more mature than the two of them. Even Seokjin, who graduated from college before me, had the same responsibilities as me in running the company and helping Dad. In the end, he helped Dad, he did well.
As for Sunghoon, that bad boy studied business at a different college than me. He looked stubborn and cruel, but when he was serious, he really meant it.
Shortly after I went to my men and ordered them to monitor the house and the club where my target worked.
The next day, I received a report that there was no person named Baek in the neighborhood. They had searched and asked everywhere but told me emphatically that they couldn't find him. Damn, I was
pissed to hear that.
"Really sir. I remember his face and I didn't see him last night. Even in his neighborhood no one knows Baek and they seemed confused when I asked them. Is that person really called Baek?" Jackson asked seriously.
I was watching TV in my room and thinking about it, I actually had the number. I suddenly remembered it and immediately called my father.
"Dad, can I borrow your cell phone?" Then I rushed to find a phone number from four days ago. After finding it, I quickly copied it down.
"Thank you." I handed the phone back to Dad, who looked at me doubtfully.
"Let's go hunting, Dad."
"What did you do the last few days until you figured this out?" Dad exclaimed arrogantly and teased me a little.
"It's a little difficult because he's not a normal person!" I replied before going back to my room and immediately dialing the number.
After waiting for a while, the call sound ended.
"Hello..." I said softly.
[Who!] A hostile voice answered the other end of the line. It made me smile because there were a lot of terrible people like me out there.
"Who, what?"
[Oh, who are you looking for?]
"You're coming... right?"
Shit!!! He had me down, making me even more sure it was him.
You think you can fool me, huh?!
"Great, look for someone named Baek, a second-year sports science student..." I gave the order to my bodyguard, smiling crookedly.
So you want to play with me? All right, let's play.
I let my men go hunting for a boy named Baek, as for me I decided to go to the company with Seokjin and Sunghoon who were waiting for me in the luxury van in front of the house. They were currently competing to sleep peacefully and I really didn't want Dad to see their laziness. He would feel sad.
We were in front of a chocolate factory which was a branch of Jeon. A factory that deserved to be demolished since its first year because it was only making a small profit. Even in the last five years its situation had not recovered.
But the tough man, who was my father, continued to keep it open because his favorite eldest son liked the chocolate from this factory very much.
Also, the brand name was Mr. Wwh (Mr.SJ aka Mr Seokjin).
The three of us, in suits and ties, headed toward the employees who were excited about our arrival. We took turns checking the income and expenditure files. Then I visited the production floor in person. I didn't see any growth rate increasing, but there was no deterioration either, it was just constant.
That chocolate factory was considered the cleanest business in our family, because our father owned multiple casinos and other real estate businesses.
Illegal arms trade, g@mbling areas opened in every district and every province. All those businesses were growing and becoming successful quickly, so there were always clans who didn't like our family's success.
Even so, faced with this matter, I was a little nervous.
Didn't anyone think of taking over that chocolate factory? At least they could understand how tiring it was to run it.
"After you eat, call someone to come get me. I have some business to take care of." I said to my two brothers. Jimin got behind the wheel of the Hyundai Van with the other two bodyguards.
"Where are you going?" Sunghoon asked.
"Have you finished your homework and chosen what to eat?"
"I also want to eat while enjoying the view... then let's go to Vanista." I replied. Vanista was a fine Italian restaurant that was located at the top of a skyscraper.
"No, I don't want to go! Something simple at the mall seems to be enough. Jimin, go to the mall just up the road." Sunghoon said as she put on her airpods and listened to music so she couldn't hear the other bodyguards snoring behind us.
When we got to the mall, I looked around to choose a restaurant when my eyes met the tall and short figures belonging to two brothers not far from me. They were so eye-catching that Seokjin walked towards the target so fast that Sunghoon and I found ourselves running after him.
"Hey, second clan." The scoundrel said smiling, as he looked at our cousins who were our age. The two brothers who were standing in front of the restaurant reading the menu raised their heads and smiled at us.
"Hey, bro'..." said Yoongi, the eldest son of the second clan.
"Hello Jungkook brother." Eunwoo, the younger brother who was still in high school, greeted me.
"Wait, did you just say hello to Jungkook?" Seokjin complained.
"Are you looking for something to eat?" I asked in a low voice.
"Yes. Did you come to eat too?" Eunwoo asked. It was not strange that we behaved well, even if we never faced each other we knew what was going on behind the scenes and who was behind the attacks and kidnappings. We boys tried not to interfere but that seemed to apply only to me. In fact Seokjin and Sunghoon had always clashed with Yoongi and Eunwoo, ever since we were little.
"Yes." I replied.
"Sunghoon... it looks like we need to change malls. The air here is bad. It's uncomfortable and creepy, like there's someone who brings bad luck around here." Well... at times like this the two, Seokjin and Sunghoon always found harmony again.
"Seokjin hyung, aren't you exaggerating? Before, Eunwoo and I were comfortable, but since you came in, you've brought us bad luck." Yoongi didn't want to be made fun of again after being a victim for so long. He was growing up now, and so he started talking back to my brother.
"Hmmm!! The head of the second clan is very good at raising his children."
"And the children of the main family think they are much better?" Yoongi replied.
"Enough, you two, stop!" I quickly grew tired of hearing them still arguing and so I decided to nip any argument in the bud.
"It's your older brother who came and started it first." Yoongi pointed his finger at Seokjin.
"Why can't I come and say hello to you?"
"Let's go!" I dragged force Seokjin by the arm. As for Sunghoon, he just laughed and followed us.
"Jungkook, don't forget to buy your older brother a mouth guard." Eunwoo shouted loudly. I didn't want to argue and just dragged my brother away immediately. We chose a simple Japanese restaurant where I quickly seated my brother.
"What the fuck did I do wrong?" Seokjin turned and cûrsed at me.
"Child abûse." I said, opening the menu.
"Precocious boys are not as simple and innocent as they seem. I hate it!" Seokjin said, crossing his arms with a frown. No one could be blamed for my older brother's indulgence except my father. Without a mother to guide and teach (my father had divorced our mother), my father had raised us to love us so much that sometimes it was too much.
"And how old are you to be fighting with kids?" I reprimanded him.
"Are you my brother or my cousin anyway?"
"Well, maybe both." I replied because I didn't like my brother's behavior anyway. It's going to be harder than before and I didn't want to think about it. How many businesses will perish at his hands?
The three of us ate and walked around the mall with the guards following us at a distance, especially Jimin, who was carrying a lot of Seokjin's stuff. In the meantime had a million dollar watch in his possession. As we walked I noticed someone in the distance walking towards us.
"Sir...!!! Sir, help me." A shabbily dressed middle-aged man with bruises all over his body quickly approached me. My arm was grabbed quickly but with the same speed, the guards who were not far from me quickly pulled it away.
"..." I frowned and watched the strange man being pushed away. The three of us stood there watching in silence.
"Sir, listen to me first. Please let me go, sir!" I was curious and approached him.
"Let him go..." My guard looked at the man before following my orders. He looked relieved, his eyes full of hope as he looked at me. His body was preparing to move towards me again but was quickly stopped by my men.
"You, don't come any closer." Jimin said in a deep voice.
"Please help me talk to his father." I raised my eyebrows, trying to figure out what he was trying to say.
"You stopped the wrong person, Uncle. This is Jungkook." Sunghoon said with a loud laugh.
"The few times I came to the company, people greeted you as Mr. Seokjin!!"
"What do you want?" Seokjin said without looking at the other person at all.
"Please, can you help me? My name is Wooshik. About ten years ago, I was doing business with your father. And now, I want to borrow some money from him..."
"Because you lost the g@mble, right?" It was like we'd seen this a million times.
"...But even so, I'm an old partner in your father's firm."
"Exactly."
"I owe them five million. They told me to pay them in three days, otherwise ..."
"You will be thrown into the sea." I said. "We have also begun to turn our attention to the watch you recently purchased." Things like that were happening nowadays and it was really surprising that Dad had known about it before and had seriously warned us about it.
"Yes, I will never make it in three days. I will definitely give them back to you but I need time. Please help me tell him. Can you talk to your father?"
"I'm eating ice cream. Let's go." I followed my brother who dropped him off at the ice cream stand. The stranger was trying to approach me again, but was stopped by our guards again. As for the casino, the three of us hadn't even touched it and had never interfered with how Dad ran it. I just thought whatever Dad did or decided was right.
"Sir, please help me!" His loud voice brought three or four security guards who dragged the stranger out of the mall. When they were in that situation, people like that came to us to survive. Maybe he could negotiate with Dad, but not with us.
I took a short walk. When we were coming back, we got out and stopped in front of the entrance to the mall, waiting for the car from the parking lot to pick us up. But my eyes were on the body of the beggar who had just come to ask for help. He was sitting on a curb like a dog. It wasn't him who had caught my attention, but the familiar motorcycle parked next to him.
I narrowed my eyes and smiled a little when I saw the figure I was looking for, he was dragging the middle-aged man behind his motorcycle to leave.
Hehe...
I thought it would be as difficult as finding a needle in a haystack, but I found it!
