The boots were splashing water and mud every time they hit the ground, the young lord's footprints were all that was left behind as he jumped onto the ship, heading straight to meet the captain. Just when he was about to make it to the wheel, strong and calloused hands grabbed him by his collar and yanked him back from the wheel.
“Where are you going, little boy, hm? This is not your palace to fool around.” the voice was mocking him. It was high-pitched and greasy, quite intimidating. Taehyung slowly lifted his gaze towards him and says.
Kim Taehyung
Leave or else I will make sure to completely wipe off your existence as well as your bloodline.
His aura darkened, voice dripping venom. Suddenly he wasn't looking like a little boy to the captain anymore. Before the captain could say anything further, Hoseok who was witnessing the scenario from a distance dashes towards them and interjects in between.
Jung Hoseok
You fool, don't you know who you're talking to? That's the royalty himself.
The captain's hand automatically slides away from the young lord's collar, taken off guard he falls hastily on his knees and kisses Taehyung's boot. Fixing his white silk shirt's collar, the young lord further decides to speak.
Kim Taehyung
I hold no grudge against you, but I would wish for you to start our journey. The more delay it is, the more reasons I get to chop off your hands.
"Lord, this peasant is at your mercy. Forgive me for the words I delivered without knowing who you are, and please rest assured, I will escort you to the North in no time." Saying this the captain finally stands and shouts. “Attention everyone! As you may have already noticed, we have his majesty on board…” The captain started laughing, crazy, that's how the typical captains of a big ships are and Hoseok had to check twice on the young lord to see if it's actually the end of the said captain.
"Tighten the reins, we are sailing to the NORTH!" The captain swerves the wheel over and over until the ship moves towards the ideal direction.
The Vincent, the king of the seas. He was bigger than most of the ships that could be seen on the ocean waves. After his father passed away, the ship was passed over to the young lord. He never actually thought that he would get a chance to set his foot over it. Then again he also never thought his once happy family will disappear in no time. Taking in the fresh air of the ocean and listening to the melody the waves were making for him, Taehyung relaxes a bit, having nothing else to do, he decides to read the book the captain offered him a while ago and of course it was about ships and oceans.
His concentration is deviated when Hoseok appears in front of him.
Jung Hoseok
Anything else we should be doing right now, Tae?
Kim Taehyung
Yes, enjoying our time.
Jung Hoseok
Oh. (Taken aback) I thought you were here with a motive if I were to be honest with you, Tae.
Kim Taehyung
Hyung, I actually am here for only one purpose and that is to fulfil my mother's wish.
Jung Hoseok
As you say. (Doubtful)
Kim Taehyung
Trust me Hyung, whatever I am doing right now, and will be, is for our own goodness and you'll get to know about everything sooner.
Choosing to trust his words, Hoseok just takes the seat, Taehyung was sitting on before.
Jung Hoseok
Okay then enjoying myself.
Kim Taehyung
Very well. (Smiles a little)
But the smile isn't going to last long.
The young lord chooses to watch around as the crew members followed all the instructions given by the captain a while ago, preparing The Vincent to sail even more smoothly. The book he was reading a while ago, long forgotten. Climbing the stairs now his place was right behind the wheel of The Vincent. The surface of the wheel felt familiar. Its smoothness was very pleasing. It was easy to move it due to that.
The young lord stood tall and firm behind the wheel looking at the horizon for anything that could stand in the ship's way. The view was better from up here. Suddenly Taehyung's eyes caught something, far in the distance, west of them, clouds were turning gray. The big waves of the ocean were coming towards them. Then suddenly he hears a loud shout saying red alert from the another ship, the cargo ship.
Kim Taehyung
Storm. (Taehyung mumbles under his breath)
When the mighty wooden frame of the ship woke and creaked under the waves, Taehyung looked for the captain, he was nowhere to be found. Everyone was running here and there taking their respective positions to fight the storm.
Jung Hoseok
It came early. (Breath hitches)
But the young lord couldn't abandon the wheel at such a crucial time of the sailing. He looked back at the horizon, he was first and foremost a captain now. Yes, now he has to save everyone including himself. He can't just die without giving justice to his parents. Nope, not so soon.
"Captain, storm at the southwest!" the sail master shouted from the deck.
Kim Taehyung
Hold sails high. We'll be taking another route. We'll maintain the speed, turn slightly east. (Shouts)
Taehyung looked at the compass tied around the wheel and swerving the wheel over and over until his wrists burned with pain. The direction of the Vincent was changing...

This chapter was fun to write, now I wish I was the captain of that ship~

So, will Taehyung survive or Jungkook will be marrying his corpse?... smells like a nice and new plot to me
