The dining room was silent, except for the clink of cutlery.
Lena kept glancing up at Dante between bites of grilled salmon she could never afford on her own. He didn’t say much. Just watched her with unreadable eyes, like he was studying every nervous blink.
She shifted in her seat.
Lena Bishop
“Are you always this quiet when you eat?”
Dante Kade(DanteK)
I don’t waste words.”
She swallowed. Nodded. Tried to eat slowly, like she wasn’t terrified of dropping her fork or saying the wrong thing.
He finally leaned back, setting his knife down with a soft click.
Dante Kade(DanteK)
“You’re not like the others.”
Dante Kade(DanteK)
“Girls who come looking for a check.
You looked like you needed a way out.”
She didn’t respond. Mostly because… he wasn’t wrong.
He reached into a drawer beside him and pulled out a sleek black folder.
Dante Kade(DanteK)
“This is the arrangement. Read it.”
Lena hesitated, then opened it.
Inside was a short document—straight to the point.
Weekly allowance: $5,000.
Cash available. Card optional.
Meetings at his request.
Discretion required. No outside relationships.
No lies. No secrets. No disappearing.
Her fingers trembled just holding the pen when he slid it across to her.
Dante Kade(DanteK)
“No one forces you. But once you sign, I expect consistency.”
She looked at him. Eyes searching
Lena Bishop
“And if I want to leave later?”
Dante Kade(DanteK)
Then leave clean.
You ghost, I come find you.”
She nodded slowly. Not out of fear. But understanding.
She signed.
He took the folder back, then slid a silver card across the table.
Dante Kade(DanteK)
Use this for anything you need.
But if I see charges for anything I didn’t approve, you lose it.”
She stared at it. Her name was printed on the front.
She’d never had a card with her name on it that didn’t come from a bank overdraft notice.

He stood, and for a second, she thought he might say something soft. Or smile.
He didn’t.
Dante Kade(DanteK)
Driver’s waiting. You’ll hear from me soon.”
She stood too, heart pounding, card clenched in her hand.
Dante Kade(DanteK)
"I don't "
The door closed behind her.
Dante watched it for a moment—expression unreadable.
Then he turned toward the hallway.
From the shadows, Enzo stepped forward, all black suit and stone face.
Dante Kade(DanteK)
Run her background.
Family. School. Every detail.”
Enzo Marchelli
“Thought you already made your decision.”
Dante Kade(DanteK)
I did.
Now I make sure she’s worth it.”
