The Ducati hummed like a beast, black paint gleaming beneath the moonlight.

The road was empty just the way he liked it.

Kael slid to a stop right in the middle of nowhere, helmet resting on the seat, custom boots hitting the pavement with a lazy elegance.

Kael sighed, pulled the phone from his jacket pocket, and answered without emotion.
