Kienar was walking in hallway when he heard a laugh... He walk towards a voice
Kienar is surprised when he saw a little boy talking to Raya, and she's looking so happy at that time

Raya turned around — and froze for a second.
Kiener was there, leaning casually against the wall, hand in pocket, dressed in a perfectly tailored black suit. From head to toe, he looked like he’d just stepped out of a high-stakes noir film.
If it had been any other girl, she might’ve lost her breath just looking at him.
But Raya Lennox wasn’t any girl.
Not even a flicker of that kind of feeling stirred inside her. Not for him. Not now. She walked toward him with calm precision, her eyes unreadable.
RAYA LENNOX/ FL
What do you want, Kiener?
He pushed off the wall, straightening, something flickering in his expression — hesitation, maybe even regret.
KIERAN BLAKE/ML

He fell silent, the rest of the sentence stuck somewhere between pride and vulnerability.
Raya raised an eyebrow, waiting.

If you’re here to apologize, don’t.
She leaned back against the wall, crossing her arms, eyes avoiding his. Her voice was cool, distant.

I know the mistake was mine. And anyway, I already spoke to Maya — she’ll handle the case just fine.
She didn’t look at him once. But Kiener… he couldn’t take his eyes off her.
Raya lowered her gaze to the floor, then spoke again, quieter this time:

And… I’m sorry. For everything that happened in the meeting. It wasn’t supposed to go that way.
She turned slightly, about to leave. But before she could take a step, Kiener reached out and grabbed her wrist.

She froze for half a second — then gently pulled her hand free from his grip.

She turned her head to the side, avoiding his gaze

Marlowe mentioned you might’ve found something about Jay. He asked me to help you with that
At the mention of her brother’s name, Raya finally looked at him. Her eyes lingered on his face for a second before she let out a deep breath.

Then why don’t you just say it clearly?
Her voice was calm, but it carried weight.
RAYA LENNOX/ FL
If I help you with this case… you’ll help me find my brother, Jay.
Kiener gave a slight smirk and raised his eyebrows.
KIERAN BLAKE/ML
Something like that. I mean, it’s not like there’s any kind of relationship between us that makes us help each other for free… right?
The words were teasing — but beneath the surface, there was something unspoken.

Right. No relationship, no reason

She took a step back, putting distance between them — not just physically, but emotionally.

Her eyes met his, sharp and guarded.

She turned, already walking away, her voice trailing behind like the echo
