The Rain That Started It All

The sky is gray. Water puddles mirror the soft drizzle. Paper boats float in small streams along the roadside. Somewhere under a broken tin shade, sits a little boy — lost, quiet.
Jungkook (10)
Sits with arms wrapped around his knees, staring down.
Tae (9)
Barefoot, wearing a blue hoodie too big for him, Hair damp with rain, upholding a broken umbrella
Tae (9)
"Jungkook why are you sitting here like a grumpy grandpa." (cheerfully)
Jungkook (10)
"it's raining. My boat drowned. I lost again." (dryly)
Tae (9)
"Then build a stronger one I'll help." (grinning sits bestie him)
Jungkook (10)
"I don't want help.I hate losing." (low voice)
Tae (9)
"You didn't lose the board did. He hands him a folded paper from his pocket." (seriously)
Tae (9)
"I keep one extra for you." (softly)
Jungkook (10)
"You always do that." (look at him surprised)
Tae (9)
"Because you always forget yourself." (shrugs)
A smile flickers on Jungkook's lips
Jungkook's house same evening
inside a modernist home from light glows. Jong-suk (Jungkook's father) watches from the window. IU (his mom) holds laundry quietly.
Jong-suk
"Tae again" (say to IU)
IU
"That boy....... he already on his heart." (Smile)
Jungkook and tae set together under the tin roof, watching the water flow.
Tae (9)
"When we grow up.... Will you still with me?" (suddenly)
Jungkook (10)
"Will there still be rain?" (blink)
Tae (9)
"Yes. And paper boats too." (laughs softly)
Jungkook (10)
"Then I will sit." (quietly)
Kim Namjoon (tae father) watches Tae drying his hair. Jin(his mom) bring hot soup to the table.

"They're Always together." (to Jin)
Kim Jin
"It's innocent, childhood love."
Kim Namjoon
"But the world isn't innocent." (Whispers)
Neighborhood wall (Night)
A boy watches tae from afar. Hidden the corner. Paper board in hand, untouched

"he smiles at him again." (to him self)

"I was here too, Tae." (softly)
He dropped his boat in silence. It floats away
Street site (Jungkook And Tae)
Tae and Jungkook now walking side by side. Jungkook suddenly put the umbrella over tae more than himself.
Tae (9)
"You'll get wet." (surprised)
Jungkook (10)
"So what? you'll stay drive." (calmly)
Tae (9)
"I like rain...." (blushing)
Jungkook (10)
"I like you more."
Tae (9)
"I hope you didn't forget this day." (softly)
Jungkook (10)
"I won't. This rain... It started it all."
