The penthouse was stunning - white marble floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, furniture that looked too expensive to sit on. But to Jungkook, it felt like a graveyard. Cold. Echoing. Empty.
A cage lined with glass and wealth.
He hadn't spoken a word to anyone since the wedding.
Correction - he hadn't been allowed to speak unless spoken to.
Taehyung (TBA)
Your voice is not needed unless I require it.
*said on their first night together, his voice colder than the winds outside*
Taehyung (TBA)
You lost the right to opinions the day you publicly disgraced me.
Jungkook stood silently at the corner of the room, fingers trembling against his side, barely able to hold in the scream building inside him.
The black collar around his neck - a humiliating symbol Taehyung had made him wear - chafed against his skin. It wasn't physical bondage, but it was meant to be a reminder: You belong to me now.
That morning, Taehyung dropped a list of tasks on the kitchen table without so much as a glance.
Laundry.
Dishes.
Scrub the floors.
Clean the bathrooms - with a toothbrush.
Taehyung (TBA)
Done by eight. I don't like filth where I sleep.
*said, buttoning up his suit*
Taehyung (TBA)
And don't leave streaks on the windows this time. I'll check.
Jungkook (Omega)
*stared at him*
You can't treat me like this.
Taehyung (TBA)
*looked back with a small, humorless smile*
I can. I am. And you'll obey - or I'll make sure the world knows what a disobedient little brat the Jeon heir really is.
Taehyung (TBA)
*left without a backward glance*
The moment the door shut, Jungkook collapsed onto the floor.
His knees gave in. His fingers clenched into fists. He had once stood in boardrooms with powerful men, giving orders with ease.
Now, he was scrubbing toilet bowls with his bare hands, bruises on his knees from the floor tiles, and cuts on his fingers from broken glass he'd been too tired to notice.
He wasn't allowed to leave the penthouse. Taehyung had locked his phone away in a coded safe. He wasn't allowed visitors. The few times he tried to call out through the balcony or knock on the walls -
Taehyung's voice echoed in his ears again:
Taehyung (TBA)
Try running and I'll send photos of you scrubbing floors to every media outlet in Seoul. Let's see what your fancy little reputation looks like then.
That night, Taehyung returned late. Jungkook had barely finished folding the last of the laundry when the door clicked open.
Jungkook (Omega)
You're late.
*said bitterly*
A sharp slap cracked across his cheek before he saw it coming.
He stumbled, catching himself against the wall, stunned.
Taehyung (TBA)
Speak when spoken to.
*said, voice calm - too calm*
Taehyung (TBA)
You're here to serve. Not complain.
Jungkook (Omega)
*touched his cheek, tears threatening to fall - not from the pain, but from humiliation*
Why are you doing this to me?
Taehyung walked past him, setting his briefcase on the table.
Taehyung (TBA)
Because I loved you once. And you made me feel worthless.
Jungkook (Omega)
I didn't know-
Taehyung (TBA)
That I was rich?
Taehyung cut him off, turning with cold fire in his eyes.
Taehyung (TBA)
You didn't care. You saw a man in second-hand shoes and decided he was beneath you.
Jungkook was trembling now.
Taehyung stepped closer, cornering him between the wall and his shadow.
Taehyung (TBA)
Now I want you to understand what it feels like to be beneath someone. I want you to live it. Taste it.
Taehyung (TBA)
*grabbed Jungkook's jaw, tilting his head up*
You're mine now. Not because the Moon Goddess said so. Because I own you. And if you ever disobey me again...
Taehyung (TBA)
*voice dropped to a whisper, laced with venom*
I'll take the one thing you still have - your dignity.
Jungkook choked back a sob as Taehyung finally released him, leaving him in the hallway like discarded trash.
