Breakup
The once-aloof, well-admired Taehyung now humbled himself before Sung-min, willing to play the role of a loyal follower.
This special treatment made Sung-min feel almost celestial. He responded with a casual
Kim Taehyung
“Let’s break up.”
The whole field seemed frozen, silence falling over everyone.
Everyone stared at Taehyung, utterly dumbfounded. What did he just say? Breakup?
Min Joon-oh
“This can’t be real,”
Min Joon-oh
“Is today April Fool’s?”
Jung Min-soo
“April Fool’s my *ss,”
Jung Min-soo
“It’s only October.”
Kim Sung-min
“Kim Taehyung, what’s the meaning of this?”
Kim Taehyung
“We’re breaking up,”
Kim Taehyung
“I’m breaking up with you.”
Kim Sung-min
(Sneered) “Like I’d care. Fine, we’re done.”
Kim Taehyung
(Nodding, then turned and walked away without a backward glance.)
Min Joon-oh
“So… Maybe it’s reverse psychology?”
Kim Sung-min
What?(chest heaved, obviously furious.)
Min Joon-oh
He’s been chasing you like crazy, right? Would he really change his mind out of nowhere? He probably saw how indifferent you were and decided to try some tactic.
Kim Sung-min
“Like I care,”
Kim Sung-min
“He was annoying anyway —finally, some peace.”
Jung Min-soo
“He’s coming back.”
Min Joon-oh
(snickered.) “Wow, I thought he’d at least hold out a little longer.”
Kim Sung-min
“What, you regretting it already? Too la—”
Before he could finish, Taehyung snatched the water bottle out of his hand. Taehyung lifted his eyelids slightly.
Kim Taehyung
“I bought this. Did you pay before drinking it?”
Then they watched as Taehyung knelt down, grabbed the entire box of water bottles, and made a beeline for the school store. This time, he didn’t look back.
Someone1: *mn, so much for ‘patience pays off.’ Sometimes you get nothing at all.
Someone2: HAHAHAHA, my crush is single again—couldn’t be happier!
Someone3: Finally, they broke up!! Does this mean I have a chance now? Sung-min Oppa wait for me!
Someone4: Actually… just so you know, Kim Taehyung was the one who suggested breaking up first.
Someone3: ???? Stop teasing us. No way!
Someone2: I was there too, and yes, Taehyung did initiate the breakup, and he seemed pretty firm about it.
Someone5: D*mn! What happened?
Someone6: Unbelievable! What’s going on?
Someone4:The underdog takes a stand? The sidekick strikes back?
Teacher 1
“Are you sure you want to transfer classes?”
Teacher 1
“School is not a place to be wishy-washy. Once you transfer, there’s no turning back.”
It wasn’t that the teacher didn’t want him to leave—in fact, he’d love nothing more than to pack Taehyung up and send him off immediately.
For Taehyung to be openly involved in a teenage romance with Sung-min was, in the teacher’s eyes, only holding the class back.
However, the Kim Sung-min family was not an ordinary family, and Taehyung himself had been personally recommended by the school board, leaving the teacher little choice but to turn a blind eye.
Kim Taehyung
“Yes, I’m certain,”
Kim Taehyung
“You’re right. Class 11 isn’t the right environment for me.”
Teacher 1
“Go back for now. I’ll notify you once the transfer process is complete.”
Kim Taehyung
(He didn’t return to class but instead went to the rooftop.)
After learning the truth about this world, he might have appeared calm on the outside, but he hadn’t fully processed it.
He wanted to visit the rooftop—the place where he’d supposedly died in the story.
Fortunately, at this hour, except for a few classes in gym, most students were still in their classrooms, so there was little risk of running into anyone else.
