Four Brothers , One Heart
Chapter - 4
First Night – Emotional Moments
That night, as candles flickered and soft music played in the distance…
Vivaan and Priya sat on their bed surrounded by flowers. He kissed her forehead softly.
Vivaan Raichand [ Ml 2]
“It feels strange… not to go home to you now. Because this is home.”
Priya Sharma [ Fl 2 ]
(teary): “This room is new. But the heart that lives here… I’ve known it forever.”
Aarav and Ishita, in contrast, sat side by side on the sofa, a cup of tea between them.
Ishita Maheshwari [ Fl 1 ]
“Do we take this slow?”
Aarav Raichand [ Ml 1]
“Yes. Let’s build something instead of expecting it to be ready.”
They looked out at the moon.
No words. Just peace.
Next Morning – Rituals Continue
From applying turmeric milk, to touching elders' feet, to feeding sweets together — each ritual brought a new layer of comfort.
Maa pulled Vivaan and Aarav aside.
Sunita Raichand [ Ml Mom ]
“A woman doesn’t just become your wife. She becomes your responsibility, your mirror, and your home.”
Both nodded, each man holding the thought differently.
That night, before everyone slept, Dadi sat on the swing with both new couples.
Shanti Raichand [ Ml Grandmother]
“Shaadi sirf rasmon ka naam nahi. Yeh toh do parivaaron ka milan hai. Har musibat mein, har khushi mein ek ho jaao… tabhi rishta chalti hai.”
"Ek din tum chaaron ki shaadi ke baad, yeh ghar phir se mehke…
Tab jaake main chain se so paungi."
And in that moment, Aarav and Vivaan knew — this was only the beginning.
Raichand Mansion – One Week After the Double Wedding
The mansion was alive — not with music or lights anymore, but with warmth. The walls echoed with footsteps, giggles, casual arguments, and the kind of silence that came from deep contentment.
Two daughters-in-law had stepped in, and everything felt a little more colorful, a little more chaotic, and a lot more complete.
Ishita Maheshwari [ Fl 1 ]
(to herself): “I should’ve just ordered breakfast.”
Priya Sharma [ Fl 2 ]
(entering): “Too late, now it’s your turn, Bhabhi!”
The two shared a laugh.
Just then, Aarav walked in, sniff
Aarav Raichand [ Ml 1]
“What is… burning?”
Priya Sharma [ Fl 2 ]
“Just your wife’s first attempt at sambhar.”
Ishita Maheshwari [ Fl 1 ]
“This is betrayal.”
Vivaan Raichand [ Ml 2]
(from the door): “Or an experiment. With all our stomachs.”
Shanti Raichand [ Ml Grandmother]
(from the hallway): “If you all stop insulting her, maybe you’ll eat on time!”
Everyone quieted instantly. Dadi still ruled with soft power
The four brothers sat in a circle coffee cups in hand, their legs stretched out.
Ayaan Raichand [ Ml 4 ]
“So… now two of you are locked in. Any regrets?”
Vivaan Raichand [ Ml 2]
Nope
Aarav Raichand [ Ml 1]
(softly): “Still adjusting. But… I’m okay.”
Reyaansh Raichand [ Ml 3 ]
(smirking): “I give you both six months before you’re whipped.”
In the shadows of that laughter, however, Ayaan quietly stared at the moon, his smile slipping for a second. He didn’t say it, but somewhere… he was wondering about his own story.
Garden – Dadi & Maa Talking
Dadi poured tea for both of them.
Shanti Raichand [ Ml Grandmother]
“Do you remember the silence in this house before they got married?”
Sunita Raichand [ Ml Mom ]
“Now I miss that silence.”
Shanti Raichand [ Ml Grandmother]
“Ishita brings peace. Priya brings light. This house is blessed.”
Sunita Raichand [ Ml Mom ]
“Now all I pray is… may Reyansh also find someone who doesn’t just challenge him, but completes him.”
A Soft Moment – Bedroom, Ishita & Aarav
Ishita Maheshwari [ Fl 1 ]
(placing files on the table): “Do you ever slow down?”
Aarav Raichand [ Ml 1]
(without looking): “Not used to it.”
She walked up behind him, placed a hand on his shoulder.
He didn’t move. But his eyes closed.
For the first time in years, Aarav Raichand slept peacefully. And Ishita watched, guarding his stillness.
