Four Brothers , One Heart
Chapter- 2
The Baraat – Evening, 6:15 PM
The drums rolled like thunder as two baraats marched side by side. Ayaan danced like he was being paid by the hour. Reyansh, moody as ever, finally cracked a smile when Priya’s little cousins dragged him into the dhol circle.
Vivaan Raichand [ Ml 2]
“Aarav bhai, I never thought I’d see you dancing.”
Aarav Raichand [ Ml 1]
“I’m not. I’m being pulled into a public crisis.”
Ayaan Raichand [ Ml 4 ]
(grinning): “You’re getting married, not audited!”
Ishita walked beneath a canopy of roses, poised and radiant, her eyes meeting Aarav’s across the stage — not romantically, but like two equals stepping into something sacred.
Priya, on the other hand, giggled her way through her phoolon ki chadar, blushing every time Vivaan winked from the mandap.
Shanti Raichand [ Ml Grandmother]
“Ek shaadi calm, ek full-on filmy. Perfect Raichand combo.”
Kritika Malhotra [ Fl 3 ]
Vivaan and Priya are already acting like they’re in a romcom.
Riddhi Mehta [ Fl 4 ]
And Aarav bhai is conducting a boardroom meeting with Ishita bhabhi 😂
Kritika Malhotra [ Fl 3 ]
Don’t lie. He held her hand. I saw it!
Riddhi Mehta [ Fl 4 ]
Omg, call the national news 🫣
Vivaan bent slightly, grinning wide as Priya tossed the varmala around his neck. She leaned in and whispered,
Priya Sharma [ Fl 2 ]
“This time, I win.”
Vivaan Raichand [ Ml 2]
“Let’s both win forever.”
On the other side, Aarav stood still as Ishita lifted the garland. Their eyes locked.
Then placed it slowly — gently — around his neck.
His hand brushed her wrist, an unspoken thank you.
Panditji’s voice echoed:
"Saptapadi — seven steps toward union, trust, compassion..."
Each vow felt different for both couples.
For Vivaan and Priya — it was long-awaited love.
For Aarav and Ishita — it was respect turning into something softer.
When the final pheras ended and the mangalsutra was tied, Dadi wiped a tear and muttered,
Shanti Raichand [ Ml Grandmother]
“Two down. Two to go. One will resist, and one will surprise.”
Post Wedding – Rooftop Conversations
Later that night, Aarav stood alone again — now with sindoor on his bride’s forehead and warmth on his usually cold chest.
Ishita Maheshwari [ Fl 1 ]
(walking over): “You didn’t run away. I’m impressed.”
Aarav Raichand [ Ml 1]
“I’m glad I didn’t.”
Ishita Maheshwari [ Fl 1 ]
“Me too.”
They sat in silence, two souls slowly finding rhythm in quiet.
