The Sage’s Warning
King Namjoon leans forward and kisses his gently on the forehead.
👑 King Namjoon
(moved):
"Such selfless love… You have never asked me for anything, not even once. Today, I make a promise—your son shall be the heir to this kingdom. I will declare it before the court and the priests. His horoscope shall be written in morning."
The Royal Court Chamber – Later That morning.
Priests and astrologers are gathered. Scrolls and ritual items are placed before them. The king sits on his throne, his queen by his side. The infant prince lies peacefully in his mother's arm.
Priest
(examining the scrolls and celestial charts):
"Your Majesty… this is no ordinary horoscope. I have studied the stars of kings and emperors, but never have I seen a chart like this."
The priest looks up, eyes wide with awe.
Priest
"This prince… is destined to be a mighty ruler, unmatched in valor and virtue. A warrior of legends, and a protector of dharma."
The court murmurs in admiration.
The King smiles proudly. Jin looks at his son with tears of joy.
A heavy gust of wind bursts through the court. Torches flicker. The grand doors creak open. Silence falls. Footsteps echo on the marble floor.
Royal sage appears at the entrance, his robes flowing behind him, his expression stern. He raises his hand.
Royal sage
(commanding):
"Asatya!" (False!)
Everyone freezes. The priests lower their heads. Jin clutches his child. The King rises from his throne, confused and tense.
👑 King Namjoon
(startled):
"Royal sage… what is the meaning of this?"
Royal sage
(walking forward slowly):
"My King… you are being blinded by joy. But you must open your eyes to the truth…"
Royal sage
"This birth is no cause for celebration… not yet. You read only the light, but ignored the shadows."
He turns to the king, his expression dire.
Royal sage
"My King… your son was born on The new moonlight, under the cursed alignment of Gandmool Nakshatra. This child bears the mark of the Moonlight Curse!"
