CEO Jeon Jungkook was driving through the quiet city streets in his sleek black car phone pressed to his ear frustration clear in his voice.

What the hell Yoongi hyung~? You can't handle this on your own~?
He was pissed. The meeting he had prepared for was already delayed and his blood pressure was rising.
But before he could yell again a loud thud echoed.
Jungkook jumped out of the car in shock. A boy lay on the cold road blood slowly trickling from his forehead.
Without wasting a second Jungkook threw his phone aside and picked the boy up in his arms rushing him to the hospital.
After ensuring the boy was bandaged and stable Jungkook left for the Jeon Empire still stressed about his meeting.
But at hospital the doctor soon noticed something strange.
He flinched at every touch especially at the sight of injections curling into himself like a frightened child.
The doctor called Jungkook.

Sir I'm sorry for disturbing you but Mr Joen today you brought this boy in. He's showing strange behavior like he's scared of everyone. I think you should come back.

Frustrated with a deal cancelled and his day already ruined Jungkook returned to the hospital.
What he saw made him freeze.
Nurses and doctors were struggling to calm the boy down. His forehead bandage had come loose and blood was oozing again. The boy was trembling in fear barefoot, messy hair falling into his teary eyes.

**softly** H..ey...pretty. Don’t be scared, okay~? I won’t hurt you I promise.
Jungkook stepped closer, hands raised calmly. The boy is none other than Taehyung looked at him eyes big and wet lips trembling.

His knees gave out and before he could hit the floor Jungkook caught him in his arms.
Back in the room the doctor treated Taehyung again and explained more.

Mr. Jeon, we ran some tests. The boy is in 'little space.' He believes he’s five years old. It's possibly a trauma response. He’s terrified of people. It’s not safe for him to stay here..

After a heavy sigh Jungkook gave a nod.
He would take care of the boy for now ok just for now that's what he thought..

Jungkook carried the sleeping boy in his arms as he left the hospital. In the quiet of his car he looked down at the feather-light body.

Arriving at his luxurious villa his butler and servants bowed as always—only to freeze in shock at the sight of their cold CEO carrying what looked like a delicate sleepy angel in his arms. They said nothing but misunderstood silently.
Jungkook entered his room and gently laid Taehyung on his king-sized bed. The small body was nearly swallowed by the massive mattress. Jungkook pulled the blanket over him and sat beside the bed watching him quietly.
After a moment his boss's mood on..he searched the boy’s pockets for an ID or phone anything.
Just soft fabric and emptiness.
