Pregnancy
In Kai and Vincent's room
Vincent
Am I doing it right?
Kai
Hmm*stroking Vincent's hair gently*
Kai
But you know it's just two months
Vincent
I know but how will my baby know me if I don't do this
Vincent was lying down beside Kai, his one hand was on Kai's stomach and one hand below his head
Vincent
I'm very happy*soft voice*
Vincent
Thankyou*rubbing his hand gently on Kai's stomach*
Kai
Thankyou you too*smile gently and yawning because it's past 2*
Vincent
I'll sleep after sometime
Vincent
Ok my baby*hug him*
Vincent
(I'm very happy Kai, I don't know how to become a good dad but I promise you that I'll give my 100%)*looking at Kai with loving gaze*
Vincent
*kiss his forehead*
Vincent
My baby will have a baby of our own soon*chuckles*
The sun dipped low, casting a warm orange glow through the tall windows of the Larsen estate
The scent of lavender and soft jazz music filled the house
Because Kai love lavender
Kai woke up and didn't find Vincent beside him
So he came downstairs and found that the number of servants and bodyguard doubled
He blinked, his hand unconsciously resting on his small belly
Kai
Good morning Nina*smile*
Kai
*goes in the kitchen and see his favorite dishes *
Lemon roasted chicken, buttery mashed potatoes, and that rich chocolate tart
Kai asked with a raised brow, touched but teasing
Vincent looked up from slicing the tart, smiling
He said, walking over to kiss Kai’s temple gently
Kai
I was craving all these
Kai
How do you know*raising his one brow*
Vincent
*shrug his shoulder*
Vincent cupped Kai’s face, then knelt before him, resting his hands on Kai’s belly
Vincent
How's my champ doing?
Kai chuckled softly, threading his fingers through Vincent’s hair
Kai
I feel like I don’t deserve you
Vincent
You deserve the world, and I’ll spend my whole life trying to give it to you
Moments later, Vincent's parents arrived—warm hugs, laughter, and smiles filled the room
As everyone settled around the table, Kai glanced at Vincent across the candles. He was watching him again
Not with worry—but with that gentle, quiet awe he always had when looking at the love of his life
And Kai, glowing and full of joy, whispered to himself
Pregnancy had slowed Kai down in the most beautiful way
The mornings started with sunlight slipping through sheer curtains and the soft rustle of bedsheets as Vincent carefully helped Kai sit up, kissing his forehead before whispering
Vincent never let him lift a finger—not even for water
He timed Kai’s vitamins, cooked or arranged balanced meals, and even tracked his mood swings in his planner like it was part of a corporate strategy
Kai had laughed one day and said
Kai
You treat me like I’m made of glass
Vincent kissed his growing belly and replied
Vincent
Like you’re holding the most precious part of my soul
Their home never felt empty
Vincent’s parents visited often, especially his mother, who brought homemade soups and sweet lullabies from Kai’s childhood, humming as she rubbed warm oil into Kai’s back
Jacob, Vincent’s younger brother, made it his mission to keep Kai entertained
Jacob
I booked yoga session for you guys
Jacob said one afternoon, dragging Kai and Vincent into a ridiculous session that ended with them all in fits of laughter
And Idris was the surprise MVP
Quiet, clever, and observant, Idris kept track of Kai’s appointments, offered foot massages, and even talked to the baby when no one was watching
