EP 3
The Group Call – Calm Voices, Storming Minds
Time: 12:03 AM
Setting: Akshu’s room. Soft lights off, only screen glow lighting her face. Fan spinning. Phone slightly warm from the long call.
Aarunika Thakur (fl bff, ml bff)
(laughing): “Yug, you’re seriously the dumbest smart person I’ve ever met.”
Yug Singh (fl bff ,ml bff)
“Thanks. That’s exactly what I was aiming for.”
Akshu Sharma (Fl)
(dry tone, sipping water): “He’s like a Wikipedia page full of wrong facts, but still sounds convincing.”
[They all laugh. Then, for the first time — a new voice breaks in.]
Ekaksh Rajput (Ml)
(calm, deep voice): “Interesting analogy.”
[The voice stops time for a second. Only one person really feels it.]
Ekaksh Rajput (Ml)
POV (internal):
That voice… Why does it sound familiar? Why does it echo something I once heard in whispers from someone else…? No. Don’t react. Just… keep it chill.
(He instantly mutes himself for 3 seconds to take a breath, then unmutes like nothing happened.)
Akshu Sharma (Fl)
(still calm): “First time you spoke in an hour, and already dropping reactions?”
Ekaksh Rajput (Ml)
(controlled): “Some silences are worth breaking. Yours felt like one.”
[Aarunika and Yug start giggling and throwing mock oohs. But Akshu… she just stares at the screen — neutral.]
Yug Singh (fl bff ,ml bff)
“Oye oye! What is this energy? Akshu, you and Ekaksh having a side poetry match?”
Aarunika Thakur (fl bff, ml bff)
“Bro! What’s with the vibe?! You two are like those cold war spies casually decoding each other.”
Akshu Sharma (Fl)
(still quiet, lips curling slightly): “Not decoding. Just… listening carefully.”
Akshu Sharma (Fl)
Internal POV
He hides emotion too cleanly. His voice— calm. Steady. But there was a micro-delay in his reply.
He knew me.
Or maybe… I knew of him. But how?
