Chandravanshi's: Fated By Love
Chapter 1
CHAPTER 1 : MISSION COMPLETED
The night was still, the air thick with the smell of exhaust and damp concrete. Ishita crouched behind a stack of crates, her breath slow and steady, her mind completely focused.
The target—an arms dealer by the name of Ishaan Kaur, notorious for his black market weapons deals—was only a few feet away.
The shadows of the warehouse loomed large around her, providing the perfect cover.
Her hands were steady as she checked her weapon. A compact silenced pistol, light but deadly. The sleek black finish matched her attire: tight-fitting tactical gear designed to blend into the night.
Ishita (FL)
*scanned the area*
She scanned the room through her night-vision goggles, making sure no one was watching.
Ishaan was on the phone, oblivious to the approaching danger. His silhouette, framed by the dim light of his desk, made him an easy target.
The intel she’d gathered said he was meeting with a buyer tonight, a deal that would send dozens of automatic rifles into the hands of underground gangs. It had to be stopped.
She moved silently, slipping through the darkness, her movements precise and calculated. Her target was oblivious to her approach, focused on the deal in front of him. But Ishita wasn’t just any agent—she was Division 9’s best.
With a single fluid motion, she raised the pistol and aimed at Ishaan’s head. The suppressed shot echoed softly in the cold air, and he crumpled to the ground without a sound. His bodyguard—standing just a few feet away—reacted too late, pulling his gun from its holster, but Ishita was faster.
She ducked low, sliding behind a metal column as he opened fire. The bullets whizzed past, but her reflexes were sharper. With a quick roll, she was on her feet and firing. Another suppressed shot. Another body dropped.
The room was silent once again.
Ishita moved swiftly, checking the bodies to ensure they were neutralized, then hurried to the desk. There, she found the deal—blueprints for an underground arms shipment. She scanned the papers quickly, committing every detail to memory. This intel would bring down the entire operation.
Chief Ranveer
*through earpiece cold and calm* Ishita, status report
The calm voice of Chief Ranveer came through her earpiece.
Ishita (FL)
*cold* Mission complete. Target is neutralized. Taking intel now.
Chief Ranveer
*cold* I want you back in fifteen minutes. No slip-ups
Ishita (FL)
*cold* I’ll be there
She gathered the documents, making sure to wipe down every surface she touched. No evidence, no traces. As she moved toward the exit, a sharp noise caught her attention. A low hum, like a distant engine. A car. She ducked behind a crate just in time, watching as a convoy of vehicles pulled into the warehouse.
They weren’t supposed to arrive until the deal was done. But someone had tipped them off.
Ishita’s pulse quickened. She couldn’t afford to get caught here. Moving quickly but silently, she melted into the shadows, keeping low. The footsteps grew louder, and she could hear muffled voices discussing something about “getting the shipment out before dawn.”
She had to act fast. Without hesitation, she pulled a smoke grenade from her belt, pulling the pin and tossing it into the center of the room. The explosion of smoke erupted, filling the air with a thick haze. The men were blinded, coughing and scrambling, unable to see anything in the chaos.
Ishita took the opportunity, moving swiftly through the cloud. She slipped past them, out the back door, and into the alleyway, where the black sedan awaited her.
