So… I said feeling a bit surprised about the current situation.

“…Yes…” the system decisively replied.

There was a quick pause during which I had an enternal monologue that went something along the lines of this:

Suddenly, the little panel in front of me which was the system started glowing, first very lightly but in soon the glow started getting brighter and brighter until eventually it stoped. Then instead of a panel appeared a cute girl that looked like an elf, or looking at the current world I inhabited most likely was one.

The small elf blinked its eyes as it slowly materialized in front for me. The thing twitched it’s eyes then cocked it’s headed to the right while looking at me then spoke;

“Okay, since you know that you have a golden finger after transmigrating as seen in books you most likely know in general how they work… yes?”

I looked at the elf thing then answered;

“In general I know the concept of a golden finger, but I don’t know of your exact functionn for which I need an explaination.”

It looked at me nodded its head in confirmation then answered;

“Okay before I tell you about my functions I of course have to make an introduction: I am Lilly Rosewhite a first generation golden finger… I prefer to be callled Lilly by the way.”

After a pause Lilly continued:

“Now function wise, as mentioned before it can be noted that I am a Bloodline evolution system which is going to help you become the strongest demon. This is of course going to make you OP, but let’s move on to how I work…”

[ Another Pause ]

“So I work off emotional value, the more emotions collected the better. Now the emotions have to be the emotions of others towards you they can be of any type whether negative or positive. Also the higher the rank/power of the person the more emotional value. So yeah that it…”

While Lilly was speaking I was processing the situation I was in…

Slowly a small flower of warmth bloomed in my chest as she talked, I smiled; in a sweet but sadistic way knowing that finally my life was fully under my control.

I woke up to the sound of “Ding” going off in my ears, I looked up and saw the system panel going off with notifications about my emotional value growing:

“LILLY GET YOUR FU*KING AS* OVER HERE BEFORE I GO DEAF!!!” I mentally called for Lilly as the cursed “Dings” continued…

Bam! Lilly quickly materialize in front of me looking disheveled and with dark circles under her eyes. She looked at me then said;

“Sorry Angelica forgot the mute the Dings”

Then as suddenly as Lilly appeared she disappeared bringing the awful noise along with her leaving me in peace looking at my growing number of points…

Time to become stronger I thought…
