*helps her on a chair* Sit, I'll make you a cake.
Eva comfortably sits with a smile on her face. She watches her sister prepare a cake for her.

*looking at the cake* Are you still thinking about what the seer said?

*lick her lips* Mmm! Can't help it.

*sighs* Do you know why I asked the seer if the serpents are extinct or not?

*sighs and nods* Because you don't want to believe that they killed mom and dad.

*smiles with teary eyes* I've been holding that memory as a nightmare, I made myself believe it was a nightmare... I don't want that to change...I don't think I can handle the reality.

*looks up at Eva* The dream, it's not just a dream Eva. You saw something didn't you, that day?

*swallows and looks away* I can't remember anything from that day, I think it's best to keep thinking that they died from a fire.

*sniffs* But...
Eva walks to Jenna and hugs her, unknowingly, her eyes glows.
Eva/ Fl
*coldly* Shhh! Even though I hate this magic, I'll work hard to master it and once I can fully sense them, I'll look for the ones that killed our parents and I will make them pay.

*hugs her tightly* Promise?

*pulls away and smiles* Yes.

*sniffs* Okay, I'll take your word for it.

*wipes Jenna's tears* Then stop crying or else the cake will be salty.

*laughs* Oops! let me fix it.

Jen! we agreed no magic in public.

*laughing* This ain't public, there's just you and me and its quicker.

The night of her parents' death. She remembers only one thing, red glowing eyes in amidst the fire and nothing else. Not her parents or the firefighters that came in later to rescue her and her sister.
They existed, the serpents. She could feel them yet she couldn't see them and the glowing eyes haunted her every night.
