Chapter 4

Finally they reached Seoul, they exited the airport with Seojoon carrying their luggages and Jungkook with Haneul in his arms.

They soon spotted one of Jeon's driver already waiting for their arrival.

They walked over to their car as Seojoon and driver settled their bags.

"How are you Mr.Lee?", Jungkook asked with a smile.

"I'm good Jungkook-sii!", the older man replied with a warm smile. His eyes lingered a little long taking the sight of the baby boy in his mother's arms.

Jungkook chuckled softly and said, "He's a little grumpy today Mr.Lee, after he comes out of his moodiness I'll introduced him to you"

The older man nodded with a smile.

The hum of the car engine is steady as it is taking them towards their destination.

Seojoon was talking some business matters on his phone.

Jungkook was staring out of the window as Haneul was sound asleep in his arms. His head rests against his mother's chest and his small hands clutching the jacket of his mother.

Jungkook's eyes wanders out the window as he lets out a slow breath feeling the wight of everything yet once again.

His fingers occasionally stoke Han's soft hair which was only an attempt to calm his racing heart and a dull ache in his heart, Ache of memories that quite never leaves.

A lump forms in his throat as his heart filling with something bittersweet.

Soon the car entered through a big gate of Jeon mansion.

"Oh my!! Finally you guys came!!"

Mrs.Jeon hugged Seojoon tightly while keeping her excitement for later seeing the baby boy sleeping soundly.

Jungkook gave her a wide smile

"I'll just put him to bed first"

Jungkook entered his old room taking a deep breath feeling nostalgic once again.

The room was just the same as he left before.

He gently layed Haneul in the bed, covering him with duvet and surrounding him with pillows. Haneul stirred a little losing his mother's warmth but immediately snuggled in the duvet and continued sleeping.

Jungkook came downstairs and his mother ran towards him and engulfed him in a warm embrace. Jungkook sighed in relief with a gentle smile while hugging his mother back and whispering, "I missed you so much mom"

Mrs.Jeon smiled widely before answering fondly, "I missed you more baby!"

Soon their little bubble broke when they heard a cough which belonged to none other than his father, who was standing there sulking.

Jungkook giggled and ran towards his father and hugged him tightly, "Happy Birthday Dad!"

Mr.Jeon smiled while hugging his son back, "Thank you sweetheart"

They all had some snacks while talking after a long time.

"You guys should go freshen up and rest a bit, soon guests will come then you won't get time to relax", Mrs.Jeon said while collecting the cups from the table.

As they entered the room they found their son is still sleeping peacefully. Jungkook sighed before saying in a small voice, "It has been so long since he is sleeping, he'll be so grumpy after waking up".

Seojoon chuckled while embracing Jungkook from behind, "Let him sleep or he'll be more bratty".

Jungkook scoffed and said, "Go take a bath I'm unpacking our bags and towels are there in the wardrobe"

Seojoon smiled and kissed his husband's forehead before entering the washroom.

After he disappeared from the sight, Jungkook let out a tired sighed before dragging himself towards the closest to unpack their clothes. He knows how his husband will panick if the elder does not find his things before the party. The elder is really clumsy sometimes.
